Step into Spring

Still dragging myself through the heat for 30 mins each morning. Now dragging the vacuum cleaner around, cleaning, shopping etc. Back to work tomorrow which is good for the diet. Doing a big cook up today so we have dinner ready for Mon & Tues nights so don't have to cook when I get home. Stir fry fish & veggies w/oyster sauce and a crockpot chicken & veggies :-)
 
Yesterday I didn't manage to get out of the house at all as I ended up doing a bit of spring clean instead. The house looks less like a Christmas grotto now :(

I will be going back to uni on the 12th with £60 a week until my next payment in April. I've started to eat sensibly at home by having salads for lunch, but for breakfast it has been golden syrup porridge. I've ordered myself a breville personal blender instead of a nutribullet or nutri ninja as one of my friends bought one and found it to be just as good.

I'm not going to neglect my health after having this viral cough and I'm slowly changing my drinking habits from pints of lager to having spirits with sparkling water and a wedge of lemon or lime. Also I have recently began meditating to bring down my stress levels as I have been suffering from stress for quite some time now.
 
We went to Ayr , parked away from the town centre and walked in . Walked up and down the street and in and out the shops looking again for a back pack . Walked for over an hour . Now watching the darts but should be ironing .
I think the big iron I usually do can wait until until eldest daughter goes to Oz in 8 days time , going to re organise the bed rooms then so there ll be space to hang them up
 
25 minutes peddling then washed fridge out and made things with the various odds and ends lurking in it. Washed utility room sink and done some other bits and bobs of housework so that can be the other 5 minutes.
 
Hello. I did 3 hours gloss painting yesterday which involved going up and down ladders and reaching and stretching. since I've discovered diy disposable gloves I don't quite get painted myself as much. Today I have painting walls with emulsion and again using ladders. That lasted for about 3 and half hours. At 4'10" I have to go up and down ladders a lot!,, :)
 
Nothing today - had a mate round so we sat in my 'shed' talking hobby stuff ;)
 
80 minutes walking around the woods .... Came back happy, knackered and covered in mud.....lol
 
Everywhere round here inland from the sea is either up or down, so I have several routes which combine steady uphill walks (10-15 minutes) and shorter but severe climbs (4-5 mins). And down again, thank goodness. I seem to remember from about 100 years ago at school we were told always to keep going and let the heart-rate subside as the gradient eases.
It was a bit of a slog today but I feel I should stick at it in the winter. The alternative is jogging up and down two flights of stairs 15 or 20 times which is quite boring.
 
Just did an hours ironing and cleared out a lot of clothes that are to big for me

I have been boring today. Busy cooking for visitors, so marched on spot while waiting for kettle to boil, 4x2 mins, walked round the garden fast, 6x3 mins, finished with going up and down stairs repeatedly for 5 mins. I call it interval training. You gave me the idea, @DeejayR . Thanks

Hey you moved for 30minutes , at the very least you are aware of needing to move
 
Another 40 mins round Botanic Gardens in Glasgow in brilliant sunshine altho quite chilly!
