Step up for Santa

@Scandichic loved it.
Couldn't get into forum yesterday, don't know if its the weather. Anyway I danced around my office yesterday as I couldn't walk at lunchtime because of torrential rain . I walked up and down the stairs then when I came home I played on the big ball thing and with weights. Also ironed a bit. So all in it was bitty but I did my 30 minutes.

@ anna29 sound good. Activity , brew and friends ..perfect.
I always do the clearing up post decorating too :(

I completed a survey on DCUK about type 2 , activities and diet. They emailed me yesterday and asked if they could phone me . Is it ok if I discuss our successes?
I'm proud of what many of us have achieved during our challenges but obviously they are personal to us as individuals and confidentiality is important to me.

Thanks for asking Jamrox, no problem from me in you including anything I've posted in your discussions.

Feel free to use anything. It is important I think to get the message across that exercise helps, can be fun, and doesn't need to be a trip to gym.

Yesterday was two supermarket dashes and 15 minutes peddling. Today will be floor washing and washing paintwork .. Who said exercise was fun again?

dog walking and more tidying yesterday - hall, stairs and landing.

today it is the kitchen...

@Jamrox ...no problems from me with info ....
I have been walking for an hour everyday .....either countryside or city ...if countryside I do fast walking with sweat ,..
City ...well a girl loves to look round the shops ....I firmly believe that exercise has assisted with my health , my body is more toned and I have lost weight .....I do have other health problems so not always easy ...but the sense of achievement is just great ...the sense of being outside with the elements ....if I had joined a gym I would not of gone ...but walking I love ....best wishes Kat

Thanks everyone.
Kat100 I totally agree with you. Its funny but without diabetes I don't think I would be as healthy as I am now. Strange I know.
I have changed my lifestyle and feel great. Being active is a part of life now . Ive said it before but thanks everyone for your help, our online community means a lot to me.
Reducing my carbs is the other thing.Have to admit I fell off the wagon a bit for a while but back on it now.I love coronation chicken and splenda has made a big difference too.

So today I washed the bathroom floor ( by hand) and did all the tiles and nasty bits that I normally close my eyes to. Made up top bunk bed and couple of duvets for next week's guests. No wonder my frozen shoulder is screaming at me. Currently home alone doing toning stuff in kitchen.

Of to adventure park today so run run

Keep it up. We are still doing great , especially as the weather getting worse.

35 minutes on old numb bum. Leaky garage roof didn't help.

Managed quick ten minutes before I went out on bike so not a complete day off plus did about 15 minutes walking around town earlier in day.

25 minutes on bike and 40 minutes washing paintwork down in kitchen and clambering up chairs to get cobwebs down in hall. Ache.

Had an enforced day off due to it being Halloween and got new phone so having to transfer details etc.
will work hard tomorrow

Nice day in Ayrshire.
Walked around Silverburn shopping centre for 2 hours ,not very taxing but I was active.
