Hello,

I had 4 squares of dairy milk before I left home to walk to work this morning to stop me from going low! And I now have stomach cramps! And also got worst after having cereal!! Any ideas of what it could be? I have Doctors Monday but just wanted a rough idea! x

Is it like a stitch, I think anyone going out straight after breakfast and walking might experience the same, howver as RRB says keep a food diary and see what does and doesn't effect your stomach and show this to your Dr.

Not really no...it's like just stomach cramps! and i didn't have breakfast until I got into work! x

Sorry, I think this is IBS.. If this is occurring fairly often, loose bowels and pre work.....and dspecially if the stomach cramps are relieved from going to the loo.

I think it is important to talk to your GP about the foods that you typically eat, the times of cramp feelings and when the feelings go.

The most important thing in life is getting a good balance of food theough your stomach. The orher thing to get is true relaxation and enjoyment.

Certain things can trigger ibs like stress, emotions, and too heavily laden carb meals....meat, cheese, veg needs to play a part in your diet everyday.

My daughter was diagnosed with IBS in Junior school , she's 13 now and on medication. Her symptoms were so painful with gripping stomach pains, diarrhoea, and a bad breath. Your symptoms could possibly be IBS ? obviously children and adults can have different symptoms for the same condition. Good luck and hope you have a pleasant and trouble free weekend.

GP's can be rather dismissive at times. My daughter takes Dicycloverine Hydrochloride tablets which have helped a lot. You could suggest to your GP about the possibility of it being IBS, you definitely seem to have symptoms of a medical condition and it should be investigated and then treated!! Night night.

If your bg levels have been high for a long time, then nerve damage can be starting ......google autonomic neuropathy......it results in symptoms similar to IBS so not nice

They havent been constantly high no...hba1c has come down alot but i know its because of the stress

I was bullied at home and had/have depression....I left there....not officially but I do not live there anymore! x

Sorry to hear that. Stress can manifest itself in weird ways..
My last job of five years we had a dodgy assistant manger which I thought I could handle her..
The stress still came about in the form of a skin complint on my legs & toward the end stomach issues before working a shift with her.

It came to a head when she put a formal complaint about me & I was called Into a disciplinary..
I was gobsmacked to find I was accused of "covert filming using a spy pen" which HR didn't know how to deal with..?
I was vindicated & her plausibility came into question when the "top secret" device was revealed as a Novopen...

Funny enough she got busted down not long after as more employees gave evidence.
When I quit, the skin complaint & gut rot cleared up...

A novopen as a "spy" pen... Was it MI5 you were working for? That's the first time I have ever heard that... No wonder you left! Glad you got a different job....and the gut rot cleared up. Mine did as well when I left management.

No, it was for a well known food retail chain... I wasn't the only one being victimised there by this person. Some good people had been driven out unable to cope.
I was pretty much the last man standing, shielding some of my younger colleagues against her campaign..
Though, believe it or not I did do a spell at the MOD about 17 years back. But nothinag as interesting as espionage... Or did I..??!! Lol :p
