Hi. In general you would need to continue your meds even with stable blood sugar as the meds will be helping control the sugar. Most diabetic meds can be stopped and started without dire effects but obviously you shouldn't play around with them; I speak as an amateur of course. You are on the three standard tablets for those with poor blood sugar control or those who are actually Late onset T1 and not T2. Metformin which you have by itself and as part of Janumet (strange?) has little effect on blood sugar but helps if you are overweight. Diamicron (Gliclazide in the UK) stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin and the Sitagliptin (aka Januvia) part of Janumet helps prolong insulin output after meals. So, I think you need a discussion with the doc based on your weight, HBa1c and typical blood sugar readings etc
