I am thirsty a lot but can’t find anything to quench my thirst. I only drink sparkling water and I find diet soft drinks leave a taste in my mouth. It’s driving me mad! Can anyone suggest what I can drink?? Thank you!
In your position I'd want to know my levels, both for future reference and to know "how diabetic" I was. I'd suggest asking for an hba1c, or better yet getting online access to your results so that you can see for yourself.Hi Ellie, thanks for your reply. I have no idea what my numbers were. I had bloods done for something else and when I went for results was told that they were concerned about my high levels but that’s all the info I got.

As regards tackling the T2 yourself, a lot of folk here have success with diet, specifically by reducing carbs, but I'll let some T2 posters elaborate on that![]()
Thanks, Tricia. What kind of meter his you buy?
