I like the sound of this "nuts mixture and dark chocolate" you have! We only have that at Christmas. (And also with crystallised ginger)

My Nuts mixtures is like cake made with 60% sesame seeds and rest with Almond nuts, Walnuts, Brazil nuts, Hazel nuts, Sunflower seeds... made into powder mix with Costco Coconut butter then leave it in fridge.

I eat couple of 30cm squares. That keeps me full till next meal.

Sounds lovely - not what I had expected though. A bit like halva perhaps? I've always enjoyed that.

what's panzanella?

An Italian salad (from Tuscany), made with cubes of stale bread (soaked in oil and toasted or fried), tomatoes, red onion, basil & olive oil. I usually add capers & anchovies, sometimes olives too. I often make it if I have some left over bread and don't need any breadcrumbs (I hate waste).

FBG 5.0 Strange I ate almost exactly the same the other day (but strawberries in the stewed apple, not cherries) and got FBG of 5.6! Maybe it's the timing of meals. Or stress levels - I'm going through a health scare at the moment.
