FBG at 0720 was 5.1 (fasting 8 hrs), food yesterday was;

Breakfast: blueberries and honey nut cheerios w/2% milk, black tea, 500 mg metformin
Lunch: cup of gruel (Lipton cup-a-soup (tomato)), black tea
Dinner: Take-out Chinese (stir fried snap peas /w onions and scallops, bean sprout and vegetable chop suey), glass of red wine, 500 mg metformin
Snack: 3 slugs of spiced rum w/diet Pepsi, handful of blueberries

Temp here 8C at 0740, skies hazy and woodpecker banging away in the forest behind our house, looks like another nice day. Changing TIPM (Total Integrated Power Module) a fancy name for a digital fuse panel, on daughter #1's Chrysler 200, hopefully the air conditioning and horn will work properly again...

Last night I actually had a slightly heavier dinner than usual (as i had a very light lunch than usual) but glad it didn’t push up the numbers - Dhalia (as we call it in India, which is broken whole wheat) with some Sambhar (South Indian dish - a sour & spicy lentil & vegetable stew i guess is the way to describe in English
)....

Dinner: Restaurant... Boston Pizza meatball sliders (4) in tomato/onion sauce, small piece of garlic bread w/butter, pint of dark beer, 500 mg metformin
Snack: 2 shots rum with diet Pepsi

Temp here at 0820 is 12C, skies hazy (from forest fires), otherwise looking like a nice day. Still playing with Mr. Chrysler 200, may have to drag out the dual trace oscilloscope for further examinations...

Breakfast: blueberries honey nut cheerios w/2% milk, black tea, 500 mg metformin
Lunch: black tea
Dinner: restaurant Chinese takeout, veggie and bean sprout stir fry plus snap pea/shrimp stir fry, chunk of baker's semi-sweet chocolate, glass of saki, black tea, 500 mg metformin
Snack: 3 hefty glasses of Smirnoff Caesers, puffed pork rinds (cracklings)

Temp here is 20C at 0730, skies still hazy from forest fires up north. Too many carbs in those Caesers, will have to stick to homemade versions, still researching Chrysler woes, having a very hard time finding any wiring diagrams for this thing, may have to spend and purchase factory software...

Although, reading was fine, I do believe that eating like this every day may cause problems.
Also, my carbs for the day were only 164g, a little over half the 300g recommended by NHS.

Venkat Kommi,what type of papad do you eat? Do you make your own? And paneer is a simple soft white cheese,correct?Ive made that at home here in USA,maybe similar to Mexican Queso Blanco? Good stuff,yum!

I just dont understand the differences between your afternoon BG and the rise in the morning,is that the Dawn Phenomenon folks talk about?
 

I buy plain Papad not cooked one and leave it in Microwave for one minute without any oil then I eat with soft cheese.

Paneer is more like cottage cheese or Halloumi cheese but not same as soft cheese.

Yes Dawn effect is causing my high blood sugars in morning as soon as i eat it goes down. I checked that before.

As every one says Morning sugars will come down at last. So hoping one day i will see low morning sugars.

Since one year i stopped all my medication i lost 17Kgs weight. Now my current weight is 60kg.

Statins are my worst medication i used over 10 years and diabetic since 12 years.

Trying to heal fatty liver and dawn effect slowly.

FBG at 0930 was 4.7 (fasting for 12 hours), and food yesterday was;

Breakfast: blueberries, honey nut cheerios w/2% milk, black tea, 500 mg metformin
Lunch: 2 slices black forest ham with lettuce and Keene's hot English mustard, black tea
Dinner: 2 Costco hot dogs w/chopped onion, tomatoes, mustard and relish, 2 small cucumbers (peeled), green salad w/Kraft balsamic dressing, glass of red wine, 500 mg metformin
Snack: blueberries, 3 glasses rum w/diet Pepsi

Temp here is 15C at 1020, skies hazy and can smell smoke from forest fires in northern Alberta, visibility was only about 3 city blocks yesterday, somewhat better today. Researching Chrysler communication bus regarding horn operation
