    Monday May 27

    FBG at 0810 was 5.6, food yesterday was;

    Breakfast: zero, zilch, black tea w/splenda and 18% cream, 500 mg metformin
    Brunch: Restaurant 4 egg omelette w/cheese, green pepper, green onions and ham, 2 slices of rye toast w/butter, 2 black coffee
    Dinner: Steak, green salad w/Kraft balsamic vinegar and oil, black tea, 500 mg metformin
    Snack: 2 shots of Mount Gay (Barbados rum) w/diet Pepsi
    Late Late Snack: 1/4 cup blueberries w/18% cream at midnight

    Temp here 15C at 1000, skies clear, applying last coat of body filler to daughter #1's front bumper and hopefully priming/painting, then fixing hidden hinges on yet another cabinet door. Probably should not have had the late late snack last night, but my personal target of being below 6 FBG was met so I guess 5.6 is OK.

    Tweaked my back carrying in self watering containers from garden to hoophouse.Taking codeine 60mg/325 mg acetaminophen and Soma 350 mg (Carisoprodol,)

    Up all night so was grazing meals.It is what it is.Finally broke down (heck,really hard with pain to rise from floor when stretching back) and hit the heavy meds,will be ok in a few days.Meds let me stand,standing fixes my back.Had L3-L4 Posterior lumbar discectomy 20 some years ago,work injury.Did you know RN's have the highest occupational back injury rates? At least last time I checked it was true.

    Will be interesting to see if it affects sugars.Today Im 'my favorite veg-table' as Brian Wilson would say. :rolleyes:

    1030-after 9.75 hr fast-FBG-5.05
    1645-13 hr fast from last meal-4 homemade keto cheddar cheese shelled tacos.Need to tweak shell size,more than needed.Will do again though,was pretty cool.
    2300-Plain Greek Yogurt with black berries
    0045-medium grapefruit
    0345-Cottage cheese with 1 roma tomato,fresh

    0845-5 hr fast- FBG-5.38
