I don't measure after every meal any more. After a year without any readings outside the non-diabetic range an a HbA1c 0f 32 I largely gave it up.You don't give BS/BG readings throughout the day, surely all of the fruit, orange juice, sweet potato, coconut (maybe not), cashews spikes it irrelevant of what supposed carbs
I still measure every 2nd morning (usually 5.30am) and every 3rd evening (usually 6pm, before dinner) to make sure that my background levels don't change. I do also check sometimes after a meal that is higher in carbs than usual. For example, last time I had risotto (about 60g of carbs), my BG was well under 5 two hours after eating.
If my background readings rise, or I have another reason to do so, I will test more but don't have any reason to really. All readings well in non-diabetic range for 3 years now.
I believe that moderate carbs and exercise is a better alternative than LCHF. It certainly works for me, and may do for some others too.
