The Polar Bear Inn, a virtual pub

What the hecky thump is an old dairy snow top? I am turning in now as I feel slightly the worse for wear from all that virtual Chardonnay and I've got 9x in the morning (god help me - or them! Not sure which) followed by a football tournament in French with Y8 (it seemed like a good idea at the time!). Night all!

Its a nice Kentish Winter porter, 6.5%abv, very warming in such a windy night. Nighty night, do you need a cab

Bleugh. Can't stand pears ... Although I suppose on this 'change of lifestyle' thing I might have to start liking them. Go on then - I'll give your Poire William a go. But if I turn maudlin you only have yourself to blame.

It doesn't taste of pears, rocket fuel maybe and very dry. S'good stuff, honestly. have a double, you'll like it if you want the really strong stuff, puts hairs in your eyeballs it does.
