I had a blood test last week as a part of my 3 monthly check I've been having since diagnosed last April. Just had the results come back on the NHS app and extremely happy to see my HBA1c is still in the 'normal' range after 6 months, meaning I'm officially 'in remission' apparently.

I've never had any medication and was given a chance to lower this by diet and exercise from my GP before prescribing anything - luckily it wasn't needed.

I've gone from 95 mmol. / 10.8% on diagnosis (9 months ago) to today at 36 mmol / 5.4%.

Thanks to everyone on here answering others with questions, information, links to articles etc. that's helped massively in this result. I have a diabetic review meeting at the end of the month and its something I'm actually looking forward to now.
