Brilliant Ebony!!!
Disagree with Nigel saying the next ones will be in the 5/6's. Mine are currently 6.3, and I want mine a little higher, as I know I have had some days when I have been battling hypo's all day due to swopping medications, and a 6.3 result for me is too low....and personally I would like to be around the 6.7-7.0 mark. I don't get readings above 7 or 8 on a daily basis now unless I have messed up, and to be able to see that the standard deviation is so much less on a daily basis through the remote control is fantastic for me, as it means I am not getting the huge swings anymore in my levels. My hba1c is a gudeline, but my remote control telling me my standard deviation levels is a fantastic tool as well.
It is so great to be able to get such good results, pumps should be more available to type 1's without the horrendous battles that some people have had to get them.
I think it is fantastic to be able to manage without the swings in levels that MDI can give. To be able to adjust the hourly doses and to lead better lives from feeling so much positive about our levels, and that we can manage them by tweaking a little here and there.
Brilliant result Ebony, makes you feel as if the hard work has paid off doesn't it?? Also, the fact that it is counted as a morderate improvement, rather than an extreme improvement (down to 5 or 6's) is better for easing retinopathy etc, which I am led to believe that fast impovement in levels can give. You must be so pleased with yourself. Well done....
