What scale do you have? .. and that's a fact they aren't that accurate.. so I do the same as you and just measure the trend... going up or down..Whilst I will agree we have no way (aside from an MRI scan) of knowing exactly how much fat or visceral fat we each have onboard, I am content it is accurate enough for me, provided I use it consistently and am reviewing my trends. To me it is irrelevant if I am 17% or 18% fat or whatever, but it is important to me if that 17% is increasing or decreasing. Similarly, with my visceral fat, which sits at 3 on a scale of 1-30.
I find it better to use one measure, with less frailty than two, where two frailty factors are in play.
We each do as we see fit.
Oh, hon, reality check. I utterly adore Star Trek and absolutely agree that it reflected the times, right down to being the first accepted (not the first) multi-racial kiss. I honestly can't say how important it was to me as I was growing up.
But, everything moves on. I'm trying to prevent a diagnosis and you're sorting out where your are and what best to do.

Ok, hon, I live with my diagnosis every day.

There is no cure!
A better lifestyle that gives a more healthy life is what we are all striving for!

Yes, but we are not the ones with no experience of the disease or medical qualifications, telling the rest that it is our own fault we haven't cured ourselves with fasting, lifting weights, whatever.That rules out 99.999% of us on this forum then.
Just unqualified diabetics, not doctors with diabetes.
I cut my arm open once.
I had it stitched up, internally, and externally, it was bandaged, and had to heal.
Now, it's not in remission, it's healed, but if I cut it open again, it'll be just as bad I guess.
But for now, I believe it's cured, not controlled.
I don't believe one day my skin will slough off.

Wow, you're really thinking about this. Self-harming is a very real problem, and unnecessarily restricting your diet is a symptom.
We all think about diet, more than we ought to. It's not terrible to be a stone or two overweight, as long as the trend is down.

Me, and a job delivering milk on a hill in ice in winter.
Sadly, I was running, with glass, and it didn't go well!
But, after a trip to A&E, and, as usual, excellent care from the NHS, I was back at it shortly afterwards, complete with bandage, and working fingers!
I still have the scar on my wrist, but in spite of several severed tendons, I have a full set of working fingers to this date.
I think I will pass on your ideas OP.... I don't want to be a muscle bound object... I prefer doing it the LCHF way. You carry on and enjoy your way...but please.. do not try to force feed us with the information you seem to have so industriously acquired. What works for you may work for you alone...have you ever considered that!
