This has NOTHING to do with Diabetes......

Ok for tonight's other games, France are through, so can the Swiss, who we play in the Euros! Beat Honduras, to qualify, can Ecuador beat the French and have a chance of going through?

I'm watching the Swiss, just to see what we have to beat early in September!

News flash!

England's flight home has been diverted---------- to Glasgow.

They have arrived to a heroes welcome!

The Swiss are dominating this, but scrappy. 1-0 up Swiss.

Shakiri's second goal for the Swiss, they have won this now.
They got the go ahead goal and have gone into a defensive shape and caught the Hondurans on the counter attacking sucker punch
They are beatable as the French showed but don't let them get ahead. We must study there game plan, before, we try and play them with our attacking football, cos I don't think that will work. I know they are playing Honduras, but we were only playing Costa Rica!

Don't think I've ever agreed with Chris Waddle before, but he just actually told it like it is regarding England "it's not about 2 years time, it's about now" "we'll be saying this in 2 years time and 2 years after that"
He then pretty much quoted Nosher word for word talking about grassroots football

I've always liked him, met him once at a charity function, can't remember any details, just his hair and his after shave!
Hoddle and Waddle twaddle, love it!

Ecuador down to ten men, the French have to take advantage!

I have an idea that should be adopted soon, maybe for 2022. Instead of having groups that are like they are now, have world wide groups. So instead of playing all Euro teams, play teams from each continent. There is six continents, Europe, Asia, Oceania, South America, Concaff. 30 groups of 8 teams, hosts and holders = 242 countries. Around about what competes now! Of course seeding comes into it, and only if you won your group would you qualify. If you had more than that number the lowest ranks would have to play off for the groups!
There is too many places in the finals for European and South American teams and this would make it more interesting with the Asian countries who have the highest number but the fewest qualifiers except for Oceania, who have none.
Because of the world wide movement of players due to international weeks, there can be no excuse for travelling, ask any Aussie who plays in the Premiership!!!

It needs refinement, but you get the idea!

France and Switzerland through! Haven't looked at who plays who!

The Swiss looked half decent, and hopefully we don't go into it as if we are of the opinion it's only the Swiss, cos we will get turned over!

As I have already said we will find it difficult to qualify for the Euros unless our attitude changes. The first game against Switzerland is so important! Just like the Italy game was!!!!

France v Nigeria - if the French play like they did against Ecuador they'll struggle, Nigeria have proved they can play good football and score goals

Switzerland v Argentina(!) - should be the end of the road for the Swiss, but they played well against Honduras and stranger things have happened

Not sure about that one Nosher, I think the end result would be the same with pretty much the same teams qualifying, but the smaller teams like Honduras, Iran etc might not get a look in

I've met a few in my time, most notably Dion Dublin and Ray Wilkins.
Dion Dublin was one of the nicest people I've ever met, Ray Wilkins was one of the strangest

If it was Switzerland v Argentina, the Swiss could have had a slight chance....but Switzerland v Messi - no chance.

I still have nightmares about my visit to Camp Nou

I would say mark him out of the game, but that's virtually impossible!

Yep... and if you managed it for 80 minutes, he could still score 4 against you.........there I've said it.... 4! Dreadful night that was.
