I am tired and fed up. I have tried with this world to make things better...why? Is this a hint to give in and bow to popular opinion.....I care not anymore. Today made it clear to me that human nature is cyclical. We will never learn.

Your searching for meaning Leslie. Some find it in nature, others in helping those who cannot help themselves. Still others in meditataton or prayer, others in retreat.
I hope you find it and it makes you happy. best wishes Derek

Good evening @leslie10152 my friend I will be with you every step of the way as I have always been, don't be away to long as I have learn't so much from you,I have been going round in circles since I was born but at least there's no corners and you can't fall off a ball as it has no edges take care my friend:)

Hope your ok @leslie10152 - I think after this weeks events that many will feel the same, stay strong and let us know your ok :)

I can't except @leslie10152 post for how to react to the Manchester concert bombing.
I worked a full weekend of concerts at my local football ground, we had the experience of holding a concert like Manchester's, which had thousands of women and children attending.
It could have been our concerts that were targeted, but it was Manchester and the horrific scenes that occurred.
We cannot give in to this type of senseless barbarian tactics of terrorism!
It is the lowest of the low, the needless, senseless, act of cowardice you would ever come across, it is as bad as intentionally attacking schools.
I am abhorred, angry, sad, distraught, it could have been my kids and grandkids, because they were at the local concerts, they had the chance to get tickets for Manchester but close the little mix concert at Prenton Park instead!

We cannot in no way give in, we must be strong and show these cowards that it won't work, we will not accept this and will do everything possible to get rid of extremism in our world. The world must go on and we will be stronger for it and the city of Manchester and in all our communities must come together and live our lives, like we should.
Infinite diversity in infinite combinations!
#CityUnited!

Please be careful you could be slipping into depression.

Yes I agree you may be slipping into depression. I have read many of your posts and you express a lot of love and concern for others. Sometimes you need to look after yourself in the same way, you can't give to others if your own cup is empty. Spend time doing gentle, simple things that you enjoy and try to switch off from the real world for a while. We all have our limits and I think you have found yours. For a while stop trying to help or think of others and think of yourself as if you were someone else. Time to love yourself I reckon. I found counselling helped me immensely, but it's probably not for everyone.

Thinking of you. :)

Those who are by nature 'carers' and often give so much to others. somehow, can be forgotten
( not that many look for praise, but if the person is feeling low, then the clouds can darken over time)
Take care @leslie10152 X
When you do come back :) have a really good look on the Inspiration thread, it's can give a wonderful lift to the soul.

People who look after everyone else are usually seen as not needing others so much when the proverbial hits the fan for them.
The caring person finds there's no one to care for them.
