Brunneria to disagree is fine but to keep suggesting it when it is dangerous is irresponsible. And yes l am aware of the amounts needed l have just been on said doses. After a month l had a 2nd blood test and was stopped as l was heading for too high.
l am due another blood test 1 month on from stopping (will be overdue when taken by couple of weeks) to see what is happening and further decisions taken. And a close eye taken on ratios so problems do not develop. Esp as a t2 your body is not functioning at full throttle and vit D is tied up in the immune system as is t2
Yes l disagree with lot of things that drs do/say but in some things l don't and this is well known and easy to do science so l make use of them. There is also comments made about possible problems and by not dealing properly it allows potential problems to get worse.
l thought l had menopause due to a red herring comment by a gyno..l had t2. Had she not made the comment l would have been dx a long time ago l just didnt want the pill so put up with hell and 3yrs of damage to my body.
I suggest you also learn about the wonderful vitamin and nutrician supplement industry and how they operate outside the need for any legal framework. The eu wanted to force them to put in what was on their label but there was uproar and it was dropped...very stupid to my mind as studies show that 99% of the time what it says isnt what it is, and if it is it is substandard. And that is across the board to assume it is a big well known company is just as dangerous.
The safest way to take vitamins and minerals is to eat healthy not to rush out for supplements. And if in any doubt go see the dr
