Sorry :D was in Portugal last week and brought a box of 6 home with me and they needed eating! You can get them in Tesco, Lidl, Costco, probably many other places but they're not as good (or as cheap!) as they are in Portugal.
@therower they are delicious!

Had one when I was in Lisbon last year :hungry::hungry::hungry: even hubby liked it and he ‘doesn’t like custard tarts’!!!

I get through about 300g of carbs a day on training days.

Today I will have:

  • 90g oats with milk and protein powder (90g total)
  • Greek yogurt and banana (30g total)
  • 250g Brown rice with chicken and spinach (80g total)
  • Brown bagel with deli meats and salad (50g total)
  • 250g Sweet potato with salmon and veggies (50g total)

I also get about 300g protein a day.

Usual breakfast, granola and yogurt.
2 bananas and an apple.
Cheese sandwich.
Mars bar ( hypo :banghead: )
Cod, butternut squash and carrot.
Malt loaf.......that’s it so far.:)

For some reason I can't keep my levels up much above 4 over the last few days even though I'm having more carbs than usual and very little insulin. Weird. So, I've just had an Indian curry takeaway with rice and a Nan. That should sort it out!
