True steel cannulas

I like the true steel cannulas, but sometimes when I'm inserting them, no matter how much I push them in, the centre of where I'm pinching up my skin (i.e where the cannula goes in) dips into a hollow, so the cannula isn't fully in. I've tried pushing them in when I've stopped pinching the skin as well, but no joy. Does anyone else find this, or have any suggestions as to what to do, apart from trying elsewhere.

I couldn't think what I do so had to wait until I changed mine.
I don't pinch at all and if necessary actually stretch my skin to make it flat and then put trusteel in at full speed/force!

Thanks @sninge i'll try that. I pinched because tandem's training video said to do that, as did youtube videos of other people inserting them. I know it's to stop you hitting muscle, but with the autosoft, you don't pinch, so am puzzled as to why the difference?

I have in the past maxed mine out till the last drop of insulin, think i've stretched to 4 days with no BG issues, I tend to watch my levels and if they start to look out then I do a set change, it's become slightly harder now using Ljumjev as sites can feel sore quite quickly so I probably average 2.5-3 days now.
