Hi again, I was on humilin M3 twice a day for years, it is rough when the problems start kicking in, I used to drink alot and smoke, but stopped them both over nearly couple years ago, don't drink coffee now low carb and my control is still rubbish compared to a lot of peoples standards, constantly have sugars in 20s etc sometimes the insulin works as it should sometimes it doesn't, but decided iam going to try before I die, it can be frustrating when you think what's the point of trying if it's already too late or it's not going to make a difference but there is, I've had them eye jabs at first I was scared, There is loads of treatments out there, new technology coming along, iam living day by day, looking at patterns, what food does what etc. I hope you do try, so many even non diabetics give up hope while there still alive and it's a shame, as before I don't work, drive etc, but I've managed to quit drinking smoking, do more things with a little more confidence,. Hope you do find that bit of strength to lift yourself up again, it can be done.
