Ye I understand that I'm so sick of my bloods being high. I'm testing my bloods every 2 hours and using correction doses as I want to get !y insulin right so I'm doing this and seeing my diabetic team to see what adjustments I need to do. I am hypoing 2 to 4 times a day ATM due to working in an intense position I am a manager at a retail store. I get stressed easy and my bloods go up or down ATM I no that the blood results can have fake readings due to this so I am going to let the experts help me with my adjustments but I'll get there
Hi Andy.Hi - am newbie. Only diagnosed with diabetes 6weeks ago after routine blood and urine tests after serious weight loss over 2 years from 94kg to 70kg. Had reading of 148 which both Dr and specialist were v impressed with !!!! Am now injecting 4 times a day and getting some control. Blood sugar was routinely HI (over 35) but now i have got it down to range of 6-20 over course of day
Pretty scared still
I have battled with my HbA1c level for far too long, I have had rare moments when my reading have been 7.5 my best ever being 7.0, but I'm afraid that's a long time ago and I continue to try to improve it. My HbA1c remains approximately 8.5 or 8.4 currently and yes I would concur that I'd give my eye teeth to get a reading of 7.0 let alone 5.5. Don't beat yourself up if you have got an extra .3 on a HbA1c result that remains within 5%. The time to get a little concerned is when it gets to the high 7% reading. You've got a long way to go before it'll get to that.Daisy - be proud of yourself, you had a lot of stress recently, yet you still got a 5.5, some people would give their eye teeth for that.
Well done you, CONGRATULATIONS
Also had D2 for 21 years had my 3monthly last week, 6.2 , best yet, been low carbing for four months now so shall try and keep going, only lost 1.7 kilos thoughRe: What are your H test results?
