Type 1s: What Is/was Your Blood Sugar This Evening And This Morning ?

13 before bed and 11 pre breakfast. Night time sugars are my big problem at the moment but I will get there if I keep tweaking

A bit of a bad night all in all...9.7 at bedtime...14.8 this morning ...several correction doses and now realised that with all the excitement...I forgot to take my basal this morning...it's gonna be one of those days :(

11.2 at bed and 7.2 on waking :(

Had to change my pod last night and still had IOB, so was happy to go to bed on 11.2 and not correct further.

Had a huge brownie and ice cream at 9pm and seemed to have bolused for it perfectly until I got into bed at midnight and suddenly shot up to 10mmol. Took a 1.5 unit correction dose and woke at 6.1mmol. Libre showed that I dipped to around 3.7mmol at 2am before flat lining at around 5-6mmol for the rest of the night.

Went to bed at 14mmol/l - had bolognaise sauce for tea and bolused about 4 units as good at converting the protein. Then woke at 11.9mmol/l - pretty sure we are all fighting a bug at the moment as daughter didn't want to go to school (highly unusual behaviour !) and a hypo of 3.6 about 2 hours later which was a good excuse to eat a piece of choc I had in my draw at work and had been sitting there for a week.. calling to me...!

5.7 going to bed, 2.9 waking. It's done a horrible n-shaped line over night, climbing to 8 & dropping off again. Don't like it!

9.7 at bed with a 1.75u correction
awoke at 6am to a 7.7 took a 1.65 correction -- back to bed for a sneaky lie in and 7:50 down to 3.6
( can I borrow that jelly baby @Natalie1974 :D )

Bed at 7.2 with 0.8 IOB woke at 2am thinking something not right, 13.8!! Grrr, corrected with 5u and went back to bed woke at 6.2, I'm blaming the bump! Lol

5.7 going to bed (an hour later, when I'd been asleep for 10 minutes, dexcom alarmed, it's set to alarm at 3.5, tested my finger & it was 1.8 - seriously? The night before it was 5.7 & I had eaten exactly the same thing for tea & it went up up up over night, but maybe I had been out in the garden too much yesterday? It was a beautiful day. Anyway, I had a glucojuice and went back to sleep), 3.6 waking.

7.1 before bed and 6.7 on waking.

@catapillar, sounds like you've had a rough night :( When I spend a day gardening I have to reduce my insulin by quite a bit, for example I can eat 80g of carbs for lunch and bolus 2 units and still go hypo later, now on a pump I also use a TBR.

Thanks @noblehead , I guess I just didn't think of it as exercise, I was only pottering round for a couple of hours & from looking at the state of my garden you wouldn't think I had done anything!

Unfortunately it's not that unusual for me to drop below 2 (2-3 times a month) so I didn't feel it (I still function fine at 1.8/1.9) & I feel fine now, no big deal for me & my non-hypoaware-self anyway :)

6.0 before bed and 9.4 this morning

i think my numbers would give the variability statisticians a full time job ;)
