    Hi @mahola
I hope you don't mind but had a look back at your overnight readings, it seems to me that your current basal rate is already keeping you fairly stable over night ranging from 0.5 - 0.7...with the exception of last night anyway...but we all have the odd glitch ;). Is it the higher readings that are bothering you? If so you might be better to look at your insulin/carb ratio's or maybe discuss correction doses with your DN...rather than altering your basal...whilst I know there are a few that have...in general it's not usually recommended to split dose with Lantus so might be worth talking this over with your DN also. Hope you figure it out :)

Are you carb counting? Maybe it's your insulin/carb ratio that needs tweaking?

12.1 going to bed (I may have, slightly, over treated a hypo - 3.3, OJ, 3.1, more OJ, still 3.1, glucojuice, 12) + 3u correction (and then I thought correcting for my hypo treatment is probably a terrible idea, so I'll have some milk, not really sure why milk, something in my head was saying its a complex carb... the louder thing in my head was saying go to sleep) 5.3 on waking, more by luck than judgment probably!

Fell asleep at 6.8 and woke up at 7.3! My best night to date!

I have literally no idea how that happened. I think some weird stuff goes on when I'm asleep.

I'm so bad at this. Had a hypo yesterday afternoon and over-corrected, taking me to 9.4 an hour later. Had some pizza last night and went to bed on 11.3. Woke up to 17.9.
I have to be strict today...fingers crossed for better numbers tomorrow!
