Type 1's What is your BG in the morning?

Urgh that's a bummer Robert. Do you think you're coming down with something? I hate not having a reason for these things!

Paul - yes maybe it's just that you slept in and if you'd been up earlier you'd maybe have seen the numbers you'd been having the last couple of days.

7.7 for me but that's because I woke up with 4.0 a few hours earlier and felt hypo (maybe was actually under 4 but variance with meter?), so had 2 jelly babies. Wish I'd only had one now! :problem:

Hi Pickle - I think it's the Lantus. I take a split dose am and pm and I seem to have been compensating yesterday and today with extra Novorapid so going to change the Lantus cart this evening.

Ah yes good idea. Hope that's it.

19,1 eek - I do know the reason though - had a hypo at 10pm last night (2.1 out of nowhere) ate dextrose tabs then fell asleep without taking my midnight basal - stupid I know, but hypos like that make me virtually pass out

Hope you feel better today Duranie!

Robert, did the cartridge change sove the problem?

As for me, battled 8's and 9's all night and after a couple of corrections finally woke up with a 6.9. My pesky hormones having their wicked way with me I think :x

9.8 this morning, despite taking an extra unit of Novorapid at bedtime when I was 7.7 and another during the night when I was 7.5 - Pickle thanks, I changed the cartridge but much the same.

Lucy, hope it settles down for you too. Maybe we're all suffering from Weekend Phenomenon ;)

Hi duranie - I'm sure I've done similar... hope you get it under control.

Back down to 6.7 this morning, perhaps you're on to something with Weekend Phenomenon Robert! :D

What are we all like eh!! Thanks Robert!

Here's to better ones tommorow :)

Duranie I know when I ve had hypos I feel absolutely knackered afterwards and it really throws me. Luckily Ive never needed assistance. ( god knows how that would be!)

Was a very high (well for me!) 9.2 mmol/l this morning... woke up feeling **** and then realised that I had caught my daughters cold... such fun! Seems to have mostly past now so lets hope for a better reading tomorrow!

10.9 this morning. I've changed both insulin carts, no symptoms of illness. Must be the weather ;)
