That problem could be solved, because the bin would would be similar to Mary Poppins bag, as deep as the ocean and as mysterious too, so room for all ( especially Ted ;))
Oh wouldn’t it be lovely to be able to dump T1! Or even put it on the compost heap and grow something tasty instead. Loads of parsnips, carrots, baking potatoes, apples, plums and pears that don’t need dosing for.

I think diabetes would be an extremely sweet exotic vegetable or fruit, possibly poisonous. :hilarious:

If I could keep the things diabetes has given me, like the resilience and sheer bloodymindedness, I’d bin it in a heartbeat. But somehow I don’t think I’d be doing the things I’m doing now if my pancreas hadn’t snuffed it.

I might be doing different things without T1 but it’s one of those Shroedinger questions, how would I know? You could be resiliently, innovatively and bloodymindedly searching for, then adapting plant material Mel. Or something altogether else.

Morning all, from a bed decorated with paw marks and scraps of garden, this morning’s presents from cat. No wildlife I’m pleased to say. Time to change sheets.
Hope everyone came through the night with reasonable bloods. Me? 4.1 this morning after pizza last night led to a 9.1 and correction at 02.00. Whenever himindoors makes pizza it lasts us two days, so for me that two almost identical nights too. Mustn’t grumble. But I am. Grumbling.

Happy Friday guys, hope you all have fab day and a great weekend
BS was steady all through the night, kept it a little higher yesterday as I don't want hypo's, so 8.4 this morning.

Morning guys and gals, I've not had any notifications of any of my posts being edited or deleted therefore I must be good! You lot on the other hand...........:D

BGs have not been that good, when I said yesterday morning things are back to normal it must have just been a blip! Suspect my novo cartridge (and possibly the levemir) had been heat affected last week, but the pasta dish last night didn't help matters, 10.9 this morning

I haven't worked out which post got deleted. It was something I replied to. It may have been the spider.

Morning.
My c-peptide has fallen to 78 pmol/L down from 126 pmol/L before insulin. Absolute insulin deficiency is below 80 pmol/L Grrrr. I was hoping that coming onto insulin would resurrect my pancreas. I'm not convinced that this isn't due to my pancreas having a holiday.
I went to sleep at 9 pm and woke at 1.30 am, realising I hadn't taken my bed-time long-acting insulin. It appears I can turn off the 10.30 pm 'Alexa' alarm in my sleep and have no recollection of it. Sleep talking. Who knew?
Went on a BMW Mini factory tour yesterday (birthday present for my OH). The 100,000 square feet room of large robots reminded me of the War of the Worlds.

@slip . I also escaped being edited or deleted.:(:(:(. It’s just so annoying, I really must try harder.

Implanted one of my last few “ obsolete” Dexcom sensors last night. Still waiting for it to sync up with my actual bloods at the moment. It’s getting there:).

It is probably the spider; the moderators should be able to tell you.
I am sure you did not intentionally offend but, unless you know what it was that cause offence, there is a risk you may unintentionally offend in the future.
The moderator comment said it was the original post I replied to, rather than my reply.

The weather finally got cooler yesterday night and I love it! My brain seems to work again and for the first time in a while the cat joined the dogs and me on the bed again :) He must be happy about the change in the weather too, as he's been purring all night <3
