Good morning jabbers and pumpers.
Looks like another clear and ( hopefully) sunny day here in the East Midlands.
Needed to dip into bedside stash of glucotabs at 1.30. ( thanks Dexcom).
Straight back sleep and knew nothing more until 4.40.
Why the low? Don't know really, nothing overly unusual. Only guess is it's because I'm T1 diabetic.:banghead::banghead:
Chill out and have a great day everyone.

Love the jabbers and and pumper quote:D probably the bad diabetes fairy was about last night

Have a great day yourself :)

I usually wake up at least an 11. What’s going on? Could it be my 6hr trek yesterday? Or is my pancreas playing tricks? Who knows...

Did you wake up?

It's such a beautiful day, I'm going to walk to the market and buy some fish for supper. Then deal with the problem of the wonky "s" on this keyboard. Madam's being quite tranquil with 5.8 today

Woke at 2:00am BG 12.6 took 6 units NR

Got up at 7:00am BG 8.6 took 5 units NR (a little too much i think)

BG 4.9 at 8.20 am > took 7 units NR & eating 50g carbs in 1 hour + having 20g carbs (OJ)

Oh, and I'm already at my desk again:bookworm: .

7.5 at stupid o clock/sparrow's fart time
Cycle to work up a hill. 25 mins..9.7 1 hour later after just black coffee (i think this why I need a cgm because this seems so random as I am sure I would have gone too low had I started out at 5 or below)
Pilates 30 mnutes. Now breakfast of choc and almond butter chia seed pudding

Good morning
5.4 happy days
Just coffee and work should (!) keep me ticking over until lunchtime.

Happy times and places

Tony

3 hours into my day and 5.6 and I have just given myself a sigh of satisfaction....

Happy times and places

Are you guys manually testing with the Libre? or do you have some sort of transmitter?

You have to scan it every 8 hours to get a graph on the reader or in my case, my phone. I tend to scan around 20 times a day, just because I like knowing where I am at. I am finding it VERY accurate

This is getting silly. Don’t remember the last time I woke up in single figures. Any suggestions for combating this?IMG_0190.jpg

sorry, what i mean is do you have to scan manually or do you have some sort of transmitter on the libre (a hack)?

I scan manually. I am hoping to be going on the Medtronic 640G in the not too distant future with the Enlite sensor. I am hypo unaware and its getting worst and starting to worry me a fair bit. So will not be looking to do anything with the Libre for CGM

just had a look at the promotional video for that, it's amazing what they can do with technology now.

i'm thinking of doing a trial with Dexcom as i want lots of data without having to manually scan all the time.
