whether the person who’s coming to get at all the dust raised by redoing the kitchen should still come. What would you do? Asking for a friend? my doppelgänger secret sharer maybe? I think I’ll be sitting in the garden with a book while they’re here so all anti-rain dances welcome.
I went to see the Sex Pistols at Blackwood Miners a LONG time ago. The warm up band played and then there was a pause, rather a long pause and people were getting edgy......a guy cam on stage and said "Ever feel like you've been had!" A room full of punk rockers went absolutely mental.....The Sex Pistols wer not even in the country lol

Morning all, bit of a spike while baking yesterday, I suspect I inhaled some icing sugar. Made rock cakes and brownies for my crew, and some keto brownies for me, which are quite nice. I’ll pop them over to the station in a bit.

I miss Kim Possible
Hi all, last puppy class today, the rest are cancelled ufn. Only three of us turned up anyway. It's all starting to feel quite surreal; the few busy roads round here are quiet, the only places that seem busy are supermarkets. Friends who are self-employed/sole traders are seriously worried; even if they do work that involves little or no contact with others, people are not renewing contracts or looking for anyone to do work as most people are concerned about money.
In my very small village people have mobilised very quickly and systems are in place for anyone wishing to offer/avail themselves of help when needed. The majority of people are over 50 if not 60, but it's a fit and active community. Let's hope it stays that way.
Bg running a bit high; stress of my dog suddenly refusing to get in the car again, having decided she would previously. Two steps forward, one step back.......
Maybe getting your car fixed/serviced/whatever is a bit like buying loo rollsCrisis! What crisis??? The garage I work at is soooooo busy at the moment, probably busier now than a few weeks ago. Booking in vehicles for next Wednesday at the earliest!
My last one was. This is the brownie recipe, it’s pretty good.Is your station anywhere near Newport? Just asking

I've heard there's going to be shortage of windscreen washer fluid - especially if people find out it's a Covid killer.
(That is a joke by the way - for anyone reading)
@slip I cycled in and it was quiet, the market too. I kept my distance when waiting as I'd seen the French do. Signs in the food shops there asked for people to wait outside until someone left, very sensible.Morning all, had a steady rise during the night oddly so woke to a 9 but now sitting at 6.7.
@SueJB for rush hour the town is pretty empty so I'd imagine you could get there even by public transport without getting anywhere near anybody!
Stay safe everyone.
Psssssst! (looking over his shoulder(whispers)) do you wanna buy some screen wash......its not diluted....pure as the day it was bottled
Good morning y'all, still no wholemeal bread in Morrisons so I've a panini to eat with my porridge and poached egg with chilliand that's an extra 20g carbs, I'm running a little high still but feel fine, it's raining here so no window cleaning but I'll still do the gym.
Have a good one
@smc4761 there is no indication of there being a food shortage at all. At the moment, it's demand surpassing the delivery and that's because people are being silly. A bit like Christmas time when people buy more than they need because the shop is going to be closed for a day.We have many wonderful knowledgeable people on this thread, so hopefully you can advise.
If the food shortages become a reality and we are having to eat much less how will this impact our type 1 diabetes. I typically eat around 120 g of carbs a day. If I end up going down to say 50 g of carbs per day, apart from taking less insulin, how this impact my body, apart from losing a few pounds, which would be no bad thing
