Thanks Marie, it's really useful to have a heads up. I'm not sure how long it'll take for the communication to get from my consultant to my GP and I'm not angsting to start this minute, so I'll wait until my prescription alters. I'll let you know how I get on!@hh1 Fiasp doesn’t always seem to work as well for a few. Someone I know tried it and after about 2 weeks of loving it all of a sudden she started having to use double the amount. She switched back to her old one.
I have read about a few people that have had similar problems. I decided to test it as I wanted something faster for the off and on highs. The first couple of times it was great so I decided to try it all day. By the end of the day I was taking a ton of insulin and wondering what was going on and it dawned on me that maybe it’s the Fiasp and I gave myself a dose of Humalog and it worked just fine.
It turns out for me that if I stick to one shot when needed it works fine, faster than my Humalog, but if I try to use it a second time in a day it doesn’t work as well.
Most people don’t have an issue, but there are a few that it either stops working well or doesn’t work as well right at the beginning. It’s great when it works well! But I thought I would let you know just in case.
Oh, that would be a game changer. I want one too!I don't care how much it costs, I'm prepared to get a bank loan
