@hh1 Fiasp doesn’t always seem to work as well for a few. Someone I know tried it and after about 2 weeks of loving it all of a sudden she started having to use double the amount. She switched back to her old one.
I have read about a few people that have had similar problems. I decided to test it as I wanted something faster for the off and on highs. The first couple of times it was great so I decided to try it all day. By the end of the day I was taking a ton of insulin and wondering what was going on and it dawned on me that maybe it’s the Fiasp and I gave myself a dose of Humalog and it worked just fine.
It turns out for me that if I stick to one shot when needed it works fine, faster than my Humalog, but if I try to use it a second time in a day it doesn’t work as well.
Most people don’t have an issue, but there are a few that it either stops working well or doesn’t work as well right at the beginning. It’s great when it works well! But I thought I would let you know just in case.
