i'm suffering with diabetes burnout i keep wanting to end it all but things are getting better 13 days 100% smoke free and alcohol free i'm trying to sort my life out, i hope your GP will listen to you it can be so annoying when they think they know more about you and your diabetes than we do when it's us who lives with it day and night 24/7 365 days a year.Having a fight with my GP about getting more often B12 injections but other than that I’m wellNever do make it easy do they! Hope all is well with you @chris85 type 1

Don't cancel. You can always cancel closer to the appointment if you feel it's useless, and it may be useful even in a month.i have reached out to a support team but there's about a month waiting list so i might just cancel it god knows what i might end up doing i'm sick of this
Hospitals are there exactly for people who need them when they are sick. Please don't feel guilty for needing them.everytime i get sick i end up in hospital and i hate being a burden
Sounds good!i'm going to see my diabetes specialist nurse 1pm on thursday for the new medtronic simplera sensor.
If you need 20 units for a meal and it works, there's nothing bad about it.i was taking 20 units with every meal which was bad considering my insulin to carb ratio is 1 unit to 10g of carbs i'm trying to stick to hospital size portions so i can take less insulin
