Morning campers.
Well I am still here
Stuck 17.5 (carts fit Nova pens) in last night of Tresiba, Degludec or 'Duloc' as it is getting called.
Early part of the night all OK and then it went steadily up when it set one of the High alarms off at 5am
In with 5 of Aspisdtra, breakfast with IOB on board add some more insulin in and I'm sat here with another High alarm going off. :***: so in goes more insulin.
Its going to be an 'interesting' week.
She is a Specialist Diabetic Dietitian, I have been with her for the past 30 months. She is the reason my diabetes is in control. She ACTUALLY cares on what I am doing/not doing. She has got me on the Libre and was instrumental on getting me approved for the pumpDo dietitians over there have to right to change your insulin ?? Only doctors and nurses educators here in Oz can do that !!
Thank you @porl69, so a bit different to our Aussie system. Does she need to borrow some big boots so that she can kick down a few doors leading to the pump consultant and impress upon him/her your case ??She is a Specialist Diabetic Dietitian, I have been with her for the past 30 months. Still bleeding waiting for the pump consultant to get me an appointment. I think yet another email to the dietitian for her to chase up the appointment

I’ve got one of those too, she’s amazing. She is a Specialist Diabetic Dietitian, I have been with her for the past 30 months. She is the reason my diabetes is in control. 9 o’clock rise just about sorted, steady 7.6 and waiting for the fall.
Looking out of the window at the rain and a wet Bernard in the Elder. Wood pigeons are all called Bernard now: I was fed up with them eating the broccoli and had to name them to prevent the bad language offending the neighbours. Who could shout abuse at a bird called Bernard?
Depends what you prefix the name Bernard with.. !!
Well i've hit a wall, been yo yo-ing from 7 to 15 since the weekend, last night I did a correction at 14, went to bed and would normally wake in range, but no still high, tried a run this morning, still hasn't come down, so just took a big bolus to see if that can shift it, feels like the insulin has turned to water so if all else fails will do a new set change with new insulin tonight, anyone else feeling completely frustrated today ?!

I hope you get your readings down @Juicyj and then the day will get better for you ( you could be starting to come down with something?) Take care X
