HMMM 90%? not confessed to trying one of those but might be a little to bitter for my tastes. Saying that I think anything would struggle in those heats your experiencing @kitedoc and although last summer here in the UK it was hot, nowhere near those in your neck of the woods, for the first time I really struggled in the heat and found it uncomfortable.

Well its Friday and looking at that picture from @karen8967 if that's her first thing in the morning ;):hilarious: it must have been one hell of a party the night before :hilarious:.
hey knikki thats me every morning

Blood pressure excellent, weight stable, (but needs to come down a bit) Hba1c not my best but definitely not my worst by any standard and clear confirmation in my mind of the ways forward for me on the food front.

Poor new, young registrar not ready for me. In any sense of the word. I tried to behave, honestly, but when I've made sure I'm there in plenty of time for everything to be done, ready with all the information to hand, having downloaded my meter data, in the middle of my working day, at the end of a hell-ish week...

Oh well, it's Friday, I've walked off most of my frustration now and am ready to fight again. My lovely T2 student was most interested in my colour coded spreadsheet printout of the last 4 years worth of blood sugars and sympathised about the blood-letting bruise.

And I’ve recently had a post moderated for mention the G word, TGIF!

I’ve not managed to balance/time my bolus for risotto - currently feeling low.........off to do some blood letting......

.......2.7!

@slip. Makes my 4.9 seem hyper:).
Problem here is I just don’t feel in the slightest bit peckish.
Wife just offered her last Jacobs cream cracker. Guess I’ll be waking around 16+ in the morning.
Take care bro.

Today I have discovered the hard way that a red novopen echo matches the upholstery on a LNER train. Well, I think the pen is there, sitting on the seat where I was.

Lost property form sent off in case, backup pen reclaimed from cupboard...

@evilclive . What an absolute pain . So so annoying.
Only once mislaid my pen. Returned to cafe where I knew it was to find the staff looking baffled and trying to figure out what it was. A quick explanation but they were none the wiser.

Good morning, awoke on a 9.9. I have to go food shopping soon which will hopefully bring it down, but have to clean up some mess first, Pebbles cat was sick under the stairs, luckily I have wooden flooring, phewwww:rolleyes::cat:
Have a great Saturday guys.:)

Hi @karen8967, I have had my 3 cuppas, but about 12 hours ago !!
That it all to report , except for your summer and winter diaries, if you ever have a bar of melted chocolate due to the ambient temperature, think twice about putting it in the fridge. My 90% cocoa Lindt chock bar set like rock.
Might need to get the hammer and chisel out !! Eye protection in place first of course.

Unfortunately South hemisphere posters have missed out because of the difficulty of posting samples in present weather conditions. But please keep it in mind for winter and I shall endevour to find a worthy material for the Antipodean summer.

Gooood morning Diabetnam!

Got a nice surprise in the post just now. A wireless adaptor sent for gratis from Roche for my Mobile meter.
Lol, I ordered it months ago & forgot since the advent of using the Libre.
I just test (the traditional way.) before bolusing or suspect low. & punch the info in. Shared twix my Android phone & iPad.
