I assume you do not smoke and that you have a special device to expel any smoking clients or staff from your presence !!
In addition to my annual 'flu shot I have had a vaccine called Pneumovax 23 which is supposed to protect me from a number (=23)! of bugs which can cause pneumonia. Not sure what Blighty offers but maybe worth asking about with your GP once you are well, maybe??

@kitedoc yes we have the pneumonia jab here. Had mine with the flu one the first year I was diagnosed. Supposed to be a one off I believe.

This was me in work today we have only got 4 residents left and by tomorrow we will have none but manager still wants us in for our shifts my last one is monday when the home officially closes but i start my new job on 21st so ten days rest then back to it looking forward to a new chapter View attachment 31705

Hope you survive the last few days. It must be very sad working in an emptying building and watching residents move on. It all seems to have happened very quickly. Glad you have a new job with a nice break before hand. A new chapter can be good for life. Hope it is for you. Enjoy those 10 days off.

What does Blighty offer I hear you ask.....” an apple a day keeps the doctor away “ is about as good as it gets up here.

Thank you, it's a CGM, not a pump. Maybe a pump will be be an option in the future, so, really looking forward to my CGM trial at the end of the April and see how it goes

Good morning, Pebbles cat was miaowing outside my bedroom door early this morning ! so up with the lark. It's bright, sunny and a neighbour was scrapping frost of his car this morning.
Off to work today, promoting Free'ist cookies, I will wear layers, as it it always on the chilly side in Sainsbury's.

My dad had the one off pneumonia jab, but he was elderly and an OAP <3 wish I had had one last year,

Day 3 of pump and its been a bit of a roller coaster. I have decided not to adjust any settings that hospital set and see how things go. I am due back on Monday anyway so not far away

As with MDI, there has been no real pattern, first night the overnights were perfect, 2ns night were a little up but last night had a great day all day, went to bed with BG6.1. It kept rising overnight and eventually got to BG 12.8 when I got up this morning. Canula change today so hopefully that may help as well

Helen that's a bit of a blip! was it a knock or pressure on the sensor?

The thread has been busy already this morning! @therower she does indeed know of the impending doom (as far as she's concerned!) that is F1, it may also include F2 and GP3, the sky box gets a bit of a hammering race weekends - which reminds me I must delete some stuff to make sure I've got enough storage.

BGs have been doing really well of late, going through one of my good phases at the mo, and long may it continue..........ah just remembered we're going out tonight to the pub with friends..........I'll admit defeat now then.
