Try carb loading, in advance. I tend to go for quite long walk most mornings, and if it's 7 or above I'll wait, and correct before it goes too low, but if it was 5.3, I wouldn't walk far without eating something first. Bananas are very good for this.
Thanks Alison, I knew the carbs from lunch should have kicked in and it was not a mad power walk or anything, it was literally a very very very gentle stroll, stopping every couple of hundred metres to take photos. Just concerned that fast acting carbs are not doing as they should. Maybe its the slight panic kicking in which I dont think helps, especially as i am usually miles from anywhere
Hypo central for me the last 2 days. FOUR hypo's yesterday. My personal best haha. Another two hypo's today. No idea what is going on as not long ago I used to have about 1 or 2 a **** month.
Morning.
Well that didn't work as I expected.
Messing about with various "bolus calculators" and Etch A Sketch said 8.9 with arrow going up fine, so 89 carbs hit the 'calculate' out comes 10.5 units
"Seems a bit high", says me "but well go for it as I am not doing anything much this morning", no saving the universe, plotting the downfall of anyone or anything, so stuff face sit and wait.
Now some 2.5 hours later I'm 2.4didn't expect to go that low
oh well, its part sorted now.
I hope you had something nice to eat, for that hypo.
