They all had a run in with a real nasty person on here and decided to leave en masse

Some lovely people who I had the priviledge of being friends with, we had some great laughs together. miss them :(

You know when a child has done something wrong and you ask them to apologise? When they say "Sorry" but don't really know what they should be sorry about and are only apologising so they can move on a ask what they want to ask? That was the response I got from Katie.
Probably best described as "Water off a duck's back".
I couldn't see any point pushing any further as I was unlikely to get anywhere with her.

The dispensing pharmacist took back everything I did not request (they can do this provided it doesn't leave the shop) and did that sighing and eye rolling thing which suggests I am not alone with my experience.

If something like this happens again. I probably won't bother with Katie: I'll ask to talk to the surgery manager directly when I will be equally polite, calm and forceful.

Happy Friday everyone. Swim fit, going to be practising our tumble turns today to try and help with our 50m times. That should be a laugh. The only person to always tumble turn is 83 so no excuses for anyone. After that someone to clean my oven. The worst job ever, so have decided it’s worth paying for. Will see how it goes.
Go forth and have a good work/retired day with good numbers to launch the weekend.

Doing the happy dance because woke up on a good reading! 4.3 .... Two days in a row - whoa!

Today is just a morning's work and then home. Hope it's going to be easier than I fear - I woke up in the night for a think about it before going back to a fitful sleep so I know I'm finding this particular task stressy before I start. Ah well - get it over and done with and then the weekend will be all mine ....

Swimming sounds fun - I remember it well. Can't go now because allergic to chemicals in the water. I look like the Thing from Outer Space but I swam a lot when I was younger.

And someone to clean your oven - oh what a joy!! And what a good idea. I must mention it to himself.
 
Good morning, lovely people!

I appear to be remarkably even on the numbers front at the moment after the stressful weekend of rugby and church. As I've got my Saturdays rugby free again, and pre-church routines altered, I shall see if it all works out this weekend. Weather permitting, long walks are planned.

Today there should be a bit of sun so it’s wishy washy day, and happy singing. Friends coming too.
Woke with new libre saying Lo, a bit wobbly but only 3.3
 
Morning all, just off to work. Long day, as teaching Biology all day, then driving straight to London after school for a big march to demand the revocation of Article 50 :) Dextrose on standby! Bloods ok, got caught by a foot on the floor surge just now, let’s see how that goes...

I love the look of that coffee Karen. I am on the second of my allotted two mugs of black coffee for the day. I was up to ten - proper filter coffee - and it was affecting me badly, so I cut it out altogether for a week. Now I get two mugs a day and then rooibos tea for the rest of the day (don't like black tea and drinking gallons of green tea isn't good).

But this early coffee is just perfect!

Morning all,
Busy day today. Collect meds, haircut, take garden stuff to the tip, shopping ready for the grand tour, write a report...or start it at least, spinning, glass of wine and sing a bit
