Morning guys - I do love a lie in! And I appreciate 7.00 a.m. instead of 6.20 a.m. isn't that much of a lie in but it is to two anxious dogs, both worrying about (a) going to the loo and (b) breakfast.

Today I am attacking my craft room. A lot of its contents can be either chucked out or donated. I do know I could Ebay a lot of it but I'd rather donate. Craft kit and supplies are expensive; if I don't need it and someone can't afford it - it's a perfect marriage :)

Aside from that, not a lot planned. Let's see what the day brings.

Have a lovely bank Holiday Sunday people! Try not to get tooooo sozzled if that is your plan for the day. XD

@WuTwo Normally my dogs sleep in until a human awakens but the wee one got up this morning and I was the person they barked at to get out so here I am. Of course once he decided he wanted out so did the other two! Now they are all snoring and I'm awake. Kind of them ¬_¬.

As someone who used to volunteer in a charity shop I think donating your craft supplies is wonderful. It will bring so much joy to some people. :)

Happy Egg Day all. Come to think of it, that was a tranny caff back in the day.
It’s already hot here. Life’s reviving, leaves nearly all out, lots of seeds sprung, flowers, bees, birds, etc. Wonderful after the winter sinking.
Have a great day with Lucia in Bournemouth Robin, cover her with a bit of waterproofing if you dunk her in the sea for more than 30 minutes.
Choc liqueur on cornflakes knikki?
It’ll probably be another walk in the woods for us to see if the bluebells have grown since last week, and especially to see if their scent’s wafting yet. Himindoors has spent the last few days preparing parts of a wood construction he’s taking to younger daughter’s next week so it’s time to get him out to living trees. The construction’s to help keep all her blokes’ sport and school stuff off the floor so it’s not constantly fallen over. It’s amazing how much sports kit one big and two small blokes can fling about.

Did your singing clear the church @Japes ?? :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: Sounds like you had a busy day.

Well Happy Easter everyone and as it is a day to celebrate chocolate I'm already on the Hotel Chocolate liquor :joyful::joyful:

Catch you all later :)

Nah, for some odd reason they rather like my occasional singing with no piano/organ accompaniment! It wasn't a very full church, but no-one walked out as I was singing!!

I'm all chocolated up for the morning. But I have had an hour's walk round my local park and reservoir to off-set it.

Happy Eostr teabags! Woke up on a 4.6 to find a bag full of Hotel Chocklit 100% buttons on my chair, so am a happy bunny indeed. We’re off to a steampunk thing today, so that should be fun. Taking a picnic :) Now, where’s my purple top hat and goggles?

Morning campers hope you all have a lovely Easter.

Mainly a good day yesterday with a drive through to Peebles lovely wee town in Scottish borders. Had a lovely walk along river Tweed in glorious sunshine and bloods even behaved.

From 8pm last night though all change Bg fell to around 3.5 so had cuppa and couple of biccies That did not work, down to Bg 2.9 cuppa more biccies and some sugar. 30 mins later down to Bg 2.3 panic now kicks in. Disconnect pump, more sugar and biccies and a further. Hour later Bg 4.2 only.

Of course overnight the revenge of the Carbs kicks in Bg 14.8. Correction dose taken but by 6.30 Bg only at 13.3.Another correction dose and just woke to a Bg11.4

Fun and games today as going to dig out lawnmower for first cut of year for front and back garden. There are rumours that a couple of giraffes are hiding in there

Well, it was my mum's 80th birthday yesterday, we had lunch at the uber-bling gothic Secret Garden at the Witchery by the Castle - another thing which affects bg: the adrenalin rush from looking at a scarily expensive 20 page long wine menu, where some of the bottles were around £2000, maxing out at £3600, so I made darned sure I got my mitts on it before my dad did so I could be sure we got something under a hundred quid but still trying not to look like a cheapskate - well, I am Scottish after all..

I got her two cards, one saying 80, the other 21, so she could take her pick of ages - gues which one she chose, lol! I've never really thought about age much, she says she's obviously noticed the physical signs of aging, hip replacement and so on, but in her mind still has a go at life as if she was in her twenties.

The staff did their job, particularly the Kiwi who said, "oh go on, you're never 80, I was reckoning 55!"

She's still racing around in her Mini like a sportscar driver. I was going to get her a voucher to have a go in a Ferrari at Knockhill but she's recently had some cataract surgery so fast things are out of the picture at the moment.

Dad had booked them into the Edinburgh Grand, an old bank building in the centre of Edinburgh, recently renovated but the developer has kept true to the period detail.

All in all a good day - they were born and bred in Edinburgh but live in Fife now, so they enjoy getting back to their old haunts as tourists.

Happy 80th, Mum-C!

Not really the right weather for high gothic Victorian costume, so I’m the world’s lardiest skeleton. Top hat and New Rock boots are making me almost seven feet tall... (well, maybe just 6”8”) ;)

My sister and I had endless fun as kids reminding her she has the same birthday as Hitler...

Happy Birthday to your very youthful looking mother, she’s outlasted the Feuhrer by many a mile!

Lol, yeah, some of my earliest memories of her are her laid back in an armchair with a couple of slices of cucumber on her eyes and some sort of green face pack on. A bit of care and attention seems to have paid off!
Hmmmm.....should've done more of that myself :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Deliberately had a low carb brekkie and lunch today. That means I've got a few to play with at dinner. So - veggieburgers in buns with dressings and salad! Yum :) And - maybe - I'll cheat a little tonight and spend some insulin on hummus chips (gorgeous!) and Kinnerton vegan dark choc. It is Easter, after all and neither of us fancied pushing the boat out with a roast dinner but burgers - yes please! And then munchies later .....

First gig of the season went well for son & partner. Landlord was well pleased because a party of 30 hikers arrived just as they started and stayed until after they'd finished. Lots of extra beer sold. The pub was absolutely packed out. Another one tonight. They're only doing weekends for now 'cos my son has a full time weekday job and teaches guitar on Wednesdays (his day off).
