Evening. Quiet day today, I updated my will after procrastinating for about a decade. You never know. Sugars been pretty good, running 6s because is didn’t sleep so well last night. Hope all you mums had a lovely Mothering Sunday, my son took the approach of ignoring it and hoping I wouldn’t notice. Wondering whether to take the same approach with his pocket money tomorrow...
I haven't got round to making a will and now I can't because I don't want to come in contact with anyone. Not sure about the pocket money @LooperCat

Good morning all, well no work for me until further notice, but lots to keep me busy.
I have started to knit a cardigan for my little granddaughter, I have lots of books lined up, the fence needs treating with wood preserve, I have bulbs to plant too. My daughter is off from her nursery, son too, as he is in the at risk group, but he walked round to me yesterday with mother's day presents, but stood outside. so we are all trying to get on as normal, but as my son has many other conditions including ADAD, Bi- polar and OCD so I do worry about him as he lives alone, but we are in constant communication and all is okay.
I hope all you mum's had a lovely day yesterday.
Take care and stay safe X

I was shocked of how unsupportive she is. I read too that it is a symptom of the virus :(

Mei - I sometimes wonder if some these responses people are reporting are less unsupportive that stress related.

Your stress is wanting to remain safe, and your manager's is keeping everyone safe, without necessarily all the information to make informed decisions.

Stay well.

SueJB, you don't have to see anyone to make a will. Your signature needs to be witnessed, but if you are socially distancing, that could be easily achieved. Your neighbour (or other witness) could even watch through a window and have the document posted through the letterbox, or signed, left on the doorstep, with your witness standing well back. They could then step forward and do their bit, and pass it back in the same way - a bit like delivery people will be doing.

Just a thought

I messaged those children from my church whose phone contact details I have, (with parental permission and parental rights to see all messaging!), and reminded them of the day... Um, I think they all, bar 1, slept through the day or had had their phones confiscated for some misdemeanor or other.

I have also updated my will and funeral instructions allowing for the fact a funeral as I would prefer it won't take place until all this is over - so, crem, and plans for a Memorial Service when we're all allowed back in church again for services.

Good morning, or it is now after a waking hypo, but you and Loopercat have got me thinking :p as I've been meaning to do one this last year but haven't yet got around to it but the 'intestate' rules appear to work in my case :) I was going to work but the ex works part time too and is at work today (in a shop) so I've got the youngest to look after.

I need to visit the supermarket for a loaf of wholemeal at some point so to keep the frozen one in the freezer and I need rabbit food :) got to keep him fat like :p

I did mine online as a free service through my union. My best mate and I are videoing each other signing it as one witness (or through the window) and I’ll see my paramedic buddy tomorrow at training, so will ask her to do the other signature. It’s the best we can do in these weird times.

All well enough here, I think. 5.9 this morning and running steady.

That reminds me of an artical I read many years ago regarding a company that would in the untimeley death of someone,
deal with all their dodgy affairs..
Pretty much let themselves into the property, remove any evidence of casual drug use, fetishes, internet history?
& generally leave a squeaky clean memory for any relatives handling the "final wishes" of the deceased..

Lol, though it may come as a shock if the last will & testiment actioned whilst "high" actually reads,
"bury me in a leather studded casket with a kilo of Coke..." :banghead::hilarious:

I'm in sunny Somerset and planning some gardening having been for a lovely walk with my dog.

Well the pollen count seems quite low according to the met office. So if you do suffer from hay fever?
There's never been a better time..! ;)

Greetings fellow pumpers and prickers. Hope you are all keeping safe and well.

After thinking about it for a while, I have decided to work from home for the foreseeable. I work with 3 other people within a small office, within a large call centre with 1500 people. I have great support from my managers and as all of my work is PC related I am soo lucky I can work from home. My son is also working from home and we are fighting for the large 24 inch monitor to use.

On the plus side, I get to listen to Planet Rock all day whilst working.

Please take care everyone

I have had compression lows when sleeping before but given I slept on my back most of the night and it was still reading that 30 mins after waking, I think it’s gone wrong this time. Never mind.

Thank goodness for the sunshine, we’ve spent most of the afternoon in the garden!
