@chris85 type 1 I eat pizza when I want, you just have to learn how to bolus for it. It's one of the trickier foods because it's high fat and high carb. Part of your bolus needs to be later as it's delayed because of the fat content, so you are dosing for some later. Sometimes a few hours later
That is the trick with pizza, it's one of the harder foods to learn how to dose for.
Of course some foods are better for us than other foods! My pizza favorite is loaded with veggies, I have no problem with that! Pile on the mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions maybe some artichoke hearts, tomatoes. Never too much! Yum!
