Type 2 Life

Hi I have been following this thread for a while now, and thought I would if it's OK take the opportunity to say hello and to add that I hope that all the Mums here had a glorious day. :)

@JohnEGreen - Hello and Welcome to the Forum. We are all friendly, helpful and supportive to one another. Pleased you have joined us:)

Hello @liam1955 yes I had a lovely day. Presents, card, flowers and lunch out. Smashing thank you. Did your mother in law like the spring planter?

@mo53 - That's good to hear you enjoyed today.:) Yes, M in Law loved the Primulas/Trough - Thank You for asking, that's really kind.:)

@13lizanne @liam1955 Thanks for the welcome and yes I have had a good day today. Fairly lazy to be honest but did manage to pinch a couple of the chocolates that the wife had for Mother's day which I will suffer for in more ways than one I fear. ;)

Thanks again @liam1955 and don't worry I won't be backwards in coming forwards, but for now I have a handful of tablets to take and then off to bed so goodnight and sleep tight all. pleasant dreams.

Morning all, I had a lovely day yesterday. DS doesn't go into town by himself (he has anxiety because of his autism and used to be agoraphobic) so last week we went into town together and we both picked out a mug and a teddy for me for Mothers Day :) I'm currently having a cup of tea in my mug with the cat curled up in my lap and celebrating the 6.1 I got this morning :D

I hope everyone is having a good day today. My bg is a little higher today, still pleased with it though at 5.6. :) Playing 10 holes of golf this morning . Need to spend time tidying and cleaning the kitchen this afternoon.

Hiya @13lizanne - Have you come to play games?
Oh Sorry, - I've got to go and start my dinner now. Will play after Anna:D

Cheeky monkey :) William!. Just got back from our afternoon with D if you think of a 6ft toddler you'll get a good idea of our afternoon. It was fun but I'm absolutely kn@*k***d Just had smoked haddock in a cream sauce with cauliflower rice (cooked in butter & cream) for dinner, it cooks in 10mins

@13lizanne - your dinner sounded "Divine"! I'm just waiting for the steamer to finish (no - it's not a boat!!) Steamed Brocolli, Carrots & New Potatoes with knobs of butter melted over the veg, and Spinach & Ricotta 'crustless' Quiche followed by Apple Lattice Pie & Sugar Free Custard. But, the main thing is You, Dad and Son ALL enjoyed yourselves. And you burnt up calories too! Well Done Youx:cat:

Yum, everyone's meals sound yummy! I had courgetti with sausages, chestnut mushrooms and red onion. I'm ringing mum up in a minute so I'd better dash!
