Type 2 Life

@mo53 - Thought you had gone to bed! How was your day? We had a thunder and lightening and rain here in York for 30minutes today. :) I'm off to get my crackerwheat & cheese - not having a Tramadol, because I need to be up at 7am and ready to leave at 8.30am for a 9.30am hospital appointment.
 
I am finally off to bed now having done an extra 3 hours work this evening.

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with the Diabetes Nurse - I need to do something about my binging - and my feet - and my emotional roller-coaster. Fingers crossed she is sympathetic and doesn't blow me off
 
Hello @liam1955 I have been off for a while and came back on. My day was fine except my grandson and I couldn't play out because of the rain. I went to Sainsburys to get a low carb livlife loaf but they didn't have any so I got a different one to try . It toasted well, tasted heavenly and didn't spike my bs. :) My bs has been 5s most of the day which is great. How was your day?
 
@paula.nolan42 - Hi Sweet Pea! Ask the Diabetic Nurse to refer you to see the Podiatrist. Let us know how you get on Paula tomorrow will you? William x I'm off to get crackers, cos I am hungry!!
 
@paula.nolan42 It was a warburtons Newhouse bakery seeded loaf. They have a new bakery for gluten free bread . It is gluten free, wheat free too and is made with tapioca flour and seeds. It is 11g of carb per slice but I was trying to find a bread that was wheat free not just gluten free. I will test it again tomorrow.
 
Well Done @mo53 at having 5's. Tomorrow is going to be pretty decent. When we get back from the Hospital, I am going out for a late lunch with my 'girl-friend' (she is 68)and we are having ????? Yeah, Cheeseburger and chips :D(mayo on my chips) again! Richard & I went through Packs of seeds and sowed them in pots: pumpkin, cucumber, etc - not done anything interesting today.
 
@liam1955 you really like those cheeseburgers. I must admit so do I. You have a busy day tomorrow with your morning appointments and lunch date . I think I will have to go swimming. I really should do a full hour. :)

Morning folks, it's a bright sunny day today so I'm going to go out and about for a bit - DS has eaten me out of house and home so I need to get more shopping! Might go for a yomp to Lidl, I could do with some more protein rolls. @liam1955 best of luck for today, I'll be thinking of you
 
Morning all - I am just back from seeing the Diabetes Nurse - I am going to be referred to a podiatrist and also the ESTHER course ??? that was about it really
