Been grey & warm, grey and cold, sunny & warm, sunny & cold...at one point I wore my winter coat to walk Rocks. Now it's grey and cool with my own personal heating system on full blast and cold hands...Afternoon. Home and making dinner. Brightening up after a grey start.
Going out tonight, might be the naughty cheese & onion pie tonight...megatons of cheese & onion in itAfternoon. Home and making dinner. Brightening up after a grey start.
Oh William, what would your mum say about it? If she would think it ok then it is. Mummies know best.@ickihun - Vicky, R says going to have to get/sort out spare bedroom for a Nursery for Grandchild!!! The bedroom is so full of: few pieces of Mum's furniture, suitcases full of Mum's bedding & towels and boxes of nick-nacks - I don want to deal with it and I want no-one else to touch anything, not yet anyway. My Sister has been saying for nearly 6 years (since Mum passed) I have to sort through it and get rid!!! No-one will touch anything or allowed to go in that room. Everybody is different in their grieving process and I'm obviously still in that process???

It sounds like it William, my dad died 8 years ago and keeping his stuff is even more important to mum now she's blind. She was just starting to lose her sight when he died but the stress accelerated the process. Sending you massive hugs xx@ickihun - Vicky, R says going to have to get/sort out spare bedroom for a Nursery for Grandchild!!! It might be easier to do a bit at a time William otherwise it may be a bit overwhelming. Maybe start on a good day. Great memories from a great woman? I'm thankful you had a great mum.Mum was not a hoarder, she would tell me off and say get rid off it! I know I must, but in my own time and the Grandchild is not due till October - I reckon it will be born in November.
Well done on your numbers @debrasue
After my telling off I disappeared for a while, but I missed you all so I'm back! Week 6 of my diabetic self management course today - the negative folks have dropped out, just positive people for the last few weeks. Tutor said I'm a model diabetic patient so feeling chuffed at that. Also have to make a cake for our last session next week!
Dietician said type 2 not on insulin shouldn't test themselves, boy that was an interesting convo. Tutor didn't agree thankfully. I shared info on SD monitor, dirty looks from dietician
Otherwise 5.5 FBG this morning so a happy chap. BG been in the 5s and no overrun from a camping weekend away. Back swimming after a few days off. Feeling good and kicking this darn diabetes into touch
Hi @PenfoldAPD good to have you back. That is interesting stuff about your self-management course, it's good that they recognise your "model diabetic status" though what I find puzzling is- how can they say that and then ask you to make a cake for everyone?Well done on your numbers @debrasue

One of the low carb ones I'm presuming. The stratiacella? (that almond flour one) is lovelyHi @PenfoldAPD good to have you back.
