Feeling more human. :) :) :)
Thank god I hear you all say! Ha ha
Glad to be back to my none brain dead self. I was just going through the motions. Had a lovely shower and dinner out with 9 yr old no.1 son. I love his cheeky company. He conned me out of £6 for a mindcraft soft toy. I was well and truely played. I guess that's what kids are for - spoiling. :)

I hope it is stress...
For the last couple of months things have been bouncing along quite nicely...
and then bam!!!
from Sunday on my two hour read after dinner has been in the high 6's low 7's, bit of a shock after so many sub 6's..
Don't think much has changed just a bit bothered about a couple or more things..
Time will tell.
Now chill.
:)

Hi congratulations. I received your pm but it doesn't let me send pm. Still having trouble keep rejoining. Anyway it's ok your not nosey, I had a bad car accident when I was 4, dragged for a long way under car, told it took 6 to lift car, was given 2 hours to live, told if alive after 2 hours then amputate but, cut it short luckily that didn't happen, but got injury to both legs, right ankle is deformed, my mother had a baby few days after. but as I've said before I've been on the battle area seen first hand that's why I just try to get on with whsts thrown at me, nothink you can do, I'm always in pain every where, I was injured in few places, but we are still here othere's arnt, I get down, depressed who doesn't but just got to keep going, at least I'm not fat & ugly!! Ha ha congratulations you've done very well, pity we can't all meet up and have a big pizza & cheesecake !!!!
Good lord! I hope you have no memory of the accident. Horrific...
Hugs x

@debrasue , that's great news, well done. I have a review tomorrow after 6weeks, and considering that I have only just got hold of a BG monitor since yesterday, in not expecting great results, but do hope that the results have come Down little bit at least. Today's results were playing, had berries, Greek yog, and one ryvita slice for breakfast and sugars were 7.6 both before and after meal. Lunch I had chicken skewers and come cauliflower rice with spinach and BG Was 5.4 before meal and 6.2 at approx 1.5 hrs after meal (had an eye appt after so couldn't wait for 2 hours), at dinner I had Indian style minced meat (kheema) and one kings mill thin instead of the chappatis, BG before meal was 5.9, just checked post meal and pretty high at 9.6, but pleased with most of the day results. Will be interesting to see what levels are tomorrow morning when I wake up. Makes such a big difference having a monitor. Good night all.

Lol my son is 22 and he still knows how to play me! He used to be even worse when my dad was still alive, he's the only grandchild on this side of the family and dad fell for it every time. He knows he won't get away with it with mum though, she's a retired teacher :)

Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) I cooked a delicious roast dinner for myself and my friends Lee, Ioanna and Maria at my friend Ioanna's flat. I cooked roast chicken, home-made, part-steamed roast potatoes, and steamed frozen cauliflower. I didn't take my blood glucose 2 hours after I started eating it, but just now (Wednesday) at 3:00 AM my blood glucose was 7.1.

Good Morning, my lovely friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Forum,

I am posting to inform you that my blood glucose level on Wednesday 18th May in the year 2016 is going up and down like a Yo-Yo. Earlier on, this morning, at 3:00 Ante Meridian, it was 7.1 Millimoles Per Litre. Now at 4:14 Ante Meridan it is 8.2 Millimoles Per Litre. I believe the precipitating factor for this raise in the level, although I haven't eaten anything since waking early, is the 2 blasts of Nicorette FineMist nicotine replacement therapy medication, the 2-3 recycled tobacco hand-rolled cigarettes I ingested and possibly the cup of coffee and cup of tea I consumed but that contained artificial sweetener tablets although quite an excessive amount. I have also consumed approximately 2-3 glasses of tap water.

Have a lovely day, my lovely friends, and thank you very much for your hugs, comments and other methods of social, psychological support. You're all very important to me and I embrace the comments and hugs we share with each other online with my heart.

Yours faithfully,

Johnny Baker (AutisticWonder1970)

Good morning Johnny and you have a lovely day too. We are both clearly early risers, joining the birds who are also just waking up

At approximately 5:30 Ante Meridian, today, Wednesday 18th May in this year of 2016, my blood glucose level was 7.5 Millimoles Per Litre, according to my new blood glucose monitor. It still falls into the "High" colour-coordinated categorisation. That is a fasting blood glucose, although I have been ingesting a lot of hand-rolled cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapy products. I have reduced the artificial sweetener tablets in my hot beverages from three to two, however. So far, I have smoked approximately 8-9 hand-rolled cigarettes and medicated myself with approximately 4-5 Nicorette FineMist blasts of nicotine replacement therapy products and consumed approximately 6-7 glasses of tap water.

Ŵell Johnny, the water is clearly good. Why not see if you can knock one more of those sweetners off. Well done with trying to reduce the smoking. What about your carb intake last night before bed?

morning everyone . still no x ray results for Ron its getting beyond a joke.

@hankjam.....Chill is the only way! I have had a couple of days of slightly higher readings so am doing a back to basics and religiously writing everything down to make sure there is no carb creep or too much protein finding its way in.......but I suspect I am actually worrying about Husbands Hospital tests this and next week and my hospital tests on Friday.....I am of course doing a great job of being totally unconcerned to the outside world! Mmmmm. Take care x

My blood glucose reading at 8:04 Ante Meridian, today, Wednesday 18th May in this year of 2016 was 6.7 Millimoles Per Litre. This is a fantastic little reading and it falls into the "In Range" colour-coordinated categorisation on my One Touch Select Plus blood glucose monitor, in spite of the complex carbohydrates that I impulsively consumed yesterday in the roast potatoes that accompanied the roast chicken and steamed, frozen cauliflower.

Hi all, not sure what's happened, but just tested my BG for before breakfast reading and it's 8.3, which is pretty high for fasting reading isn't it. Didn't have anything bad yest, so not sure what has caused it. Have to see my diabetic nurse today so will see what they say.
