This is just to let others know why I asked Administration to close the Type 2 York Meet Up Thread for 28th March.
As far as I was aware it was myself and another member meeting up. But, then that member began tagging others to join in. And I was getting together Plan A and Plan B of things to do on the day with no help - so I withdrew and left it up to the other member, who didn't want to do anything but just take part!
There are 2 Female Members who have paid for Train Travel and overnight Accommodation for 28th and 29th March in York. I have contacted these Women and offered that my Partner and I meet them on the day at York Railway Station and we go on a sight seeing tour of York.
I have since heard and these 2 women have accepted my offer to which I am looking forward to very much.
That sounds like it will be a lot of fun William. Have a great time. xxx
Wish you well good on you!KYou can do it. Just look how well you are doing on your bg readings.
All's well that ends well, then! Excellent. This is just to let others know why I asked Administration to close the Type 2 York Meet Up Thread for 28th March.

Sorry to hear about the possibility of arthritis, Johnny. I suffer from that too and it's not a lot of fun at times... You're rather young to be suffering from that - I hope your medical team can do something to help you. Hugs xI'm on Day 3 of my Smoking Quit, my lovely, warm friends on Type II Life, and I had a fasting, before food, blood glucose reading of 4.2 millimoles per litre. I've eaten a tomato sandwich since then. And I had an X-Ray at my local hospital as an outpatient this morning as my GP suspects I have got Arthritis in my back and that it radiates to my legs. The X-Ray will be studied by Specialist Doctors.
Lots of Love to you

That's a lovely way to turn what could be seen as a negative into a positive, Vicky! I'm glad you enjoy your beautiful children.Off to town to sort out some school uniform. The joys of parenthood. I love it really. Beats my infertile days. Everyone getting pregnant and I put in for their presents and waited for the baby to brought in the office. I was in awe when it was my turn.Wonderful days, money cannot buy! Well unless your a multi-millionaire.
We're delighted with our purchase as exactly same trousers but reduced in a sale. So ice cream went into the shopping basket as a treat! That's a lovely way to turn what could be seen as a negative into a positive, Vicky! I'm glad you enjoy your beautiful children.
I'm only on 2.5mg primarily for blood pressure. He might increase it then. I guess he might try a ct angiogram again, not sure. I know gp isn't keen to alter drugs only add if blood pressure increases.Hi @ickihun what dose of bisoporol are you on? My husband was on 5mg but after a visit with a new cardiologist who told us that his pacing record (he also has a pacemaker) showed his heart went fast more times he'd like he's now on 7.5mg per day and a diuretic but, if it's any consolation, he's not getting so breathless so it seems to be working!
How are you @Granny_grump_ ? Hope you're having a good weekend. ♡♥♡Wish you well good on you!K
Know the feeling we seem to be at the hospital every month at the moment as they think he may gave an infection in his arm caused by the plate they put in last year when he fractured his arm so he had a bone scan last Wednesday and we are waiting for the results.I'm only on 2.5mg primarily for blood pressure. I have to wait 4-6wks for appointment. Constantly waiting.
Oh no! I hope it is a false alarm. He's really going through it.Know the feeling we seem to be at the hospital every month at the moment as they think he may gave an infection in his arm caused by the plate they put in last year when he fractured his arm so he had a bone scan last Wednesday and we are waiting for the results.
At least they are sorting it - problem with him is that because he is on Warfarin they have to get his blood right so he doesn't bleed too much and, because of his heart, he usually has two pre-op appointments to make sure the anesthetist is happy for him to have it.Oh no! A worry for you. How is your bgs coping with it all?At least they are sorting it - problem with him is that because he is on Warfarin they have to get his blood right so he doesn't bleed too much and, because of his heart, he usually has two pre-op appointments to make sure the anesthetist is happy for him to have it.
I'm pleased your more yourself and fighting fit. Enjoy your Sunday hun.Feeling a lot better after being knocked off my feet for a few days with a water infection, the nice doc told me that diabetics are prone to these - she knows because she is diabetic herself! hurray! another member of the D club! Sugars are a bit up, but I think that they are a combination of not being well and having to eat four times a day to line the tummy for the antibiotics (which are a bit fierce!).
Going out for the first time today to go and meet my friends, go to the animal rescue centre to make a fuss of the cats waiting there for new homes. We will have a look at a rummage sale, have lunch and come home. Let's see how I cope with that!
