Type 2 Life

cpeptide test shows how much insulin your body is making and using. It is used to tell what type of diabetes you have, there is a page on it on the main site and I think diabetes UK have some info about c peptide test.

My fbg this morning is 4.9 increased insulin and steroids because I have got a chest infection and sinusitis :(.
Oh no! Get well soon x

Morning FBG 6.1. @hankjam I have been having a few ups and downs lately, issues with our eldest daughter and the welfare of our second granddaughter along with the unhelpful OH at times, not much sleep as usual and I have been eating dinner quite late but I gave myself the neccessary kick up the backside and am back.on track now (fingers crossed). Actually ate dinner earlier on last night and I think it made a difference this morning.

Sorry to hear that, that's a lot to have on one plate.
I'm never too sure if I hit the right "tone" when asking about someone's situation as there is often a lot..
Eating early does help my FBG's.

I have to say I prefer this thread as we do get to "chat" about things.

My fingers are crossed for you

I like this thread as well, no chance of getting in trouble for chatting off topic as the title says it all. I find my numbers are better if I eat earlier as well so I have to make a point of staying on track with that.

I also like this thread. We can encourage and give suggestions here. There are so many things that affect our blood sugars and it's hard not to respond, here we can. Stress plays havoc for me but here we can let off steam and that can be helpful.
