Type 2 Life

Good morning @johnnybaker45 have you tried the sugar substitute truvia or stevia yet? That was a big jump in your blood sugar from yesterday and it looks like it was the sugar in your coffee to blame. I'm glad you have had that previous diagnosis revoked. You certainly are very friendly to your chums here on the forum. I hope that you have a good day.

Good morning everyone and how are you all today. Just got a message from Ron he's had a hypo at work now taking time out . Ive told him he needs to change departments his body can't cope anymore but he's so stubborn {men} what can we do with them?

Hello @johnnybaker45, I agree with @13lizanne it sounds like the sugar is the reason for the rise in your blood glucose. My mother is also Type 2 Diabetic and used to have 3 sugars in her coffee but cut down half a spoonful at a time and now only has 1.

I'm also glad you had your previous diagnosis revoked, your symptoms certainly fit much better with Aspergers Syndrome. My son shows very similar traits to you

Ron made me laugh this week when he told you all that he was going to look after me . He can't even look after himself and this week has proven it.:inpain::inpain::inpain:

Good morning. I'm a real moaning Minny today. I hurt my back while gardening a few days ago and yesterday I planted new plants so......... today I'm walking like a robot ! It hurts standing up and it hurts sitting down ! Oh dear. And it is self inflicted

I know how you feel . Are you taking anything for the pain?

this will make u laugh. I don't think im in his good books this week as I've taken away one of his electronic gadgets .. This is why.... every morning when he gets up he takes his gadget into the toilet and puts his BG reading up then sits and see what everyone elses is . When he gets home he does the same in the loo and sees what you've all been up to. It drives me NUTS. No hello how are you or kiss good evening not even the dog gets a look in .He is now using his phone.... so watch this space.;););):D

@mo53 - Oh dear, what are you like!! I did say the very next day that you should have a rest from gardening and maybe go Swimming.:). Get your partner/other half to give you a back massage with baby oil or lotion - and see how that does?
What ever you do, don't sit or you will seize up - keep moving about at your own pace, maybe go for a very slow walk along the beach.:) Wmx

I am going to have a moan now! Waited all day (yesterday) for phone call from hospital to tell me that my next prescription for Cosentyx had been faxed to the Drug Company. Phone call never happened. So, I rang hospital this morning and was told = yes, prescription was faxed, but forgot to ring and tell me! Now, I am waiting to hear from Drug Company (as previously agreed) for arrangements to be made for delivery of the drug by the courier company. (My next injection is on Tuesday) Usually, I get phone call on a Wednesday to arrange delivery on a Friday and now it will be out of sync I feel. = Moan over now!. Feel better for that.:D
Off to make a Chocolate Crispie Loaf it's ever so healthy and full of goodness!!:p
