It's r-alpha lipoid acid. @Tim55 uses it alongside another suppliment and it has reduced his meds and improved his neuropathy.
I'm still waiting for my delivery so cannot tell you if it's worked for me -yet.
Dr Bernstein mentions it in his updated book dr bernstein's diabetes solution. He has extensive experience with insulin taking patients.
Tim55 doesn't take insulin but has been able to reduce his metformin by a third I believe. I'm not sure whether he does lchf, I think he does but neuropathy is his biggest concern, presently. He has excellent bgs even on lower dose of metformin.
 
I've also got an iPad to repair. My sister smashed the screen on hers. Replacement screen came yesterday so might get it done this evening. Cost £8.62 and a shop will rip you off for repairs - beware ! :)

I wanted to use app but very similiar problem so don't bother. Their website is more reliable.

I agree with what @13lizanne said, you never know what it might lead to? They say a 2nd chance usually works. Fingers crossed for you @eddie1968 (But, then I have no experience with women!!) Good Luck and keep us updated:)
