Type 2 Life

Ahhh, Maureen - we miss you! How can we get this sorted out?
@noblehead, @andcol, @catherinecherub, @AndBreathe, @anna29, @azure - any ideas?

@maureen5752 Sorry you're having problems. Let me tag @Giverny and @Administrator for you.

Are you using the app? If you are, you may want to try the normal computer version for the meantime and see if that helps until one of the forum tech team can see what the problem is.

@debrasue Thank you for drawing attention to this and tagging mods :)

@ickihun

Don't hesitate to get back onto hospital if not settled by weekend or latest monday. They can check whether infection going and need for more antibiotics. -♡ Have a chilling weekend and not too many carbs to give bug a kick. ♡

Rons gone up to bed as his knee now keeps giving out . He's taken his pain killers so hopefully will sleep well. I love this man so much they better do something to help him soon.

My friends and family tell me I only have to look at them a certain way and they feel guilty, somehow I think that it might not work with Maureen's horrible neighbour. I think that @tina_marie might be our best bet, but we'd have to go this week :)
Been some misunderstanding here I've got horrible neighbours, but the problem is someone who won't accept the words not interested !!!! Got very nasty!!! I'm married, Now you can all laugh,

Back home. Site was down for a while and couldn't log on. Got my bloods done and saw my GP this afternoon. Tired and watching Netflix. :)

Watching Netflix on my old Windows Surface RT tablet and on DCUK with my new iPad. Very impressed with it, large screen, amazing sound, fantastic graphics and very very fast. Well chuffed and can multi task too. :)

got co codamol again but the 30mg instead of the 8mg starting on 2 tablets 3 times a day increasing to 4 times a day if not working plus ibuprofen 400mg to help with the inflammation in the joints taking 1 tablet 3 times a day
but will have to see how they go as side affects my stop me going back to work
good news of today local garage rang me and my new car will be ready for pick up tomorrow

I was on co-codamol 30/500 (4x2 daily) and they send me to sleep & are a s*d for constipation (I'm useless with meds, allergies, intolerances etc) so GP gave me separate codeine 30mg & paracetamol capsules 500mg. I can take the codeine now when it suits me rather than altogether. Just something to keep in mind if you have problems with them.

Good news about the car :)

Multi-task, I thought that was an impossibility for men :hilarious:

I take Codeine Phosphate 30mg too after losing over half my colon to gangrene and sepsis. Co-Codamol are no use as I don't need the Paracetamol 500mg. I take them to slow my bowel movements down. I used to take 8 a day when I had my colostomy bag but have cut down to 3-4 after getting the colostomy reversed 3 years ago. I also take Imodium Syrup (POM) if I get really loose motions. :)

Not diclofenac but another. I'll her it's name again.
Bless her she's having an op today on her second from big toe because of buckled arthritis has left them twisted and up. I'm calling her at 7pm for an update. Sister is with her at mo.
Oooh, she's braver than me, bless her!

Good lord - you HAVE been in the wars, haven't you, Eddie? :eek:

@liam1955 i worked for 5 and 1/2 hours in garden and the bulk of the border ground work is done. I will move some plants in and plant some new ones in the next few days and then wood bark as a mulch. Then I want to get stuck into the rest of the garden. I'm having a bath soon and will then see if back is complaining. :)
Post us some pictures on the Gardenfile thread, Mo (http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/gardenfile.100766/)
We'd love to see the results of all your hard work! :)

That's at the root of my 2 prolonged ICU admissions. I nearly died twice but hey I'm still hanging around. Seriously, all the surgeries, pain and recoveries were a nightmare and has made me stronger for it. :)

I have ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis and a severe narrowing in part of the colon, so constipation was a really big problem for me. Not being rude, but I was either trying to go or trying not to :banghead:
