95% horror and that's not all of them. They're in my bedroom as I watched them as I'm drifting off to sleep
Funnily enough, I used to be a huge Stephen King fan, and read every single one of his novels up to and including Cell in 2006, then I suddenly couldn't handle them any more. Gave them all to the secondhand book store, as I couldn't bear to have them in the house.

It's ok, I've got some you CAN watch lots of detective, kids movies like Shrek & Ice Age, Twilight Saga (yes, it's vampires and werewolves bound up with a love story)
Have you got any Peppa Pig?
Looks like the dogs and I won't be getting much sleep while you're gone...
:nailbiting:

Back home, starting to get dark. My great nephew who is 3 commandeered my iPad to watch Horrid Henry and Paw Patrol lol. Granny's iPad Air is not big enough now. The wee man has an iPad mini and I think he can use them better than me lol. :)

I hate horror movies as they don't scare me. I love action, thrillers, sci fi and fantasy films. Today's comedies don't touch the Airplane movies which were very funny. :)

Getting very sleepy now - all that gardening has caught up with me and I took a hefty painkiller earlier which is inducing a very pleasant sophorific feeling now.
Night night, peeps - let's hope we all have pleasant dreams x

Cold from hell causing me a sleep problem. Had 3 hrs earlier now in bed again. Nite nite you lovely people. Hoping I feel dandy tomorrow.

@ickihun - Good Night Vicky - Have a good night's sleep and hope you feel better in the morning.:) William x.

Looks like your theory about lower FBGs after carbs is correct, Vicki! Mine have been in the mid to upper 5s lately, but I got a 4.9 this morning following a jacket potato for dinner last night.

5.6 am
made a choc mouse for dinner last night, the strawberry place closed early, too early in the season for a full days opening..
First +6 2 hours after for sometime, not really a surprise and knocked on to this morning, my system does seem to take its time processing sugars... and for some reason my pre dinner numbers are more often in the 5's than 4's, which is a change...
It's another week with lots of deadlines...
Hope yours is good.

I know what you mean about the sugars hanging around @hankjam. If I have even a small amount of sugary stuff my BG s rocket- and stay raised for a day or so. If I eat a moderate amount (eg ice cream) as I did last week the effect lasts for up to a week and I feel under-par too. That's why I don't usually eat sweet stuff- we are diabetic after all! :)

Morning all! 3 days away hence no posts, zero signal in the Purbeck Hills :) My FBG this morning was 6.1 so I must have been good as I wanted to be. Travelling/holidays are hardest I find and didn't want to go off the rails. Even managed a couple of pints of very dry Cider which had little effect on the BG. But stuck to LCHF and was prepared with LivLife bread, low carb sausages etc.

Camping was awesome - picture below for those who thought I'd be totally roughing it! New tent, new camp kitchen - and so happy I didn't hit the silly BG numbers I did on a trip to Germany.

Have a great day everyone :)

Indeed @13lizanne each time I do have something out of the ordinary, a little bit of me always hopes there has been a change... but, alas, it is not so... we are diabetic. :)

@13lizanne after eating KFC while in Germany I was determined to be good! Now feeling pleased and my levels ok. And the sun was great - I'm not into camping in the rain! Have a good day
