Type 2 Life

Decisions, decisions....guess I should shower but just want to crawl into bed cos my plugs just been pulled and my head's started aching. Having 24 hour BP monitor fitted at half 3 tomo so think I'll shower when I've done dogs. Show them I CAN arrive in clean clothes free of dog hairs, paw prints and slobber

Well it's been a lovely evening good food, champagne, great company and Mrs Cumbs loved her flowers and ring and and she loved all her surprises and she has surprised me too the lovely lady has given me £200 towards a season ticket for next season

Get some good sleep now. In my experience the 24 hour BP thing kept me awake all night - just got off and the darn thing would go off again!

Evening all. Need glasses for close/ready but at moment not for anythink else, but things can change I'm told. Reading my last hba1c says my results were 41mmol = 5.9%. Is that still classes as diabetics Or pre? Having some heavy rain here @ debrasue. Lovely new photo'.
Thanks Maureen! I think up to 42 is classed as "normal" (prediabetes?).....

So even better than you realized. Well done.
Thanks just been looking at my previous tests, yeh I am quite pleased with myself, hba1c was 121 last June 2015! This February 41! Apparently the December one was 41 also, I didn't understand anythink till I came onto this forum Not being a big headed c*w but yeh looking at that it's quite good. Now Ive got to keep it up!!!!!!! It's all thsnks to the info & support from this site. Thanks all. Really appreciate it . Hope my next result is good

My darling grandchildren have given me a not-so-nice gift, a virus in the shape of a cough (makes my lower throat burn when I cough) and aching limbs, like the flu. Went for a slow short walk today, couldn't manage a long or fast one. Another not on rota day off work tomorrow and back at the weekend, hopefully better by then, or I will be phoning in tomorrow and upsetting the senior on duty. Off to bed now with my water, lemon and lime I've had 3 pints so far today, helping the cough.

@maureen5752 That is quite amazing with all your other health issues.

Cannot sleep. My nana past away in her sleep this morning. It's been one hell of a day. I cannot relax. Messed up meds and bread for a snack all day. God knows what my fbg reading will be. No appetite so no insulin.
I forgot to take thyroxin and 2 other blood pressure tablets. Decaf coffee all day. :(
Poor mum will have to bury her in her bandaged toe joint replacement and 2 sticks. Her dog died 4months ago now her mum. She has been through the mill.

I'm not very good with words in this situation but i do feel for you. It's very sad & very hard to lose some one so close & loved, both my parents died while I was abroad, & they wouldn't give me a passport to return, you obviously are very upset & sad, try to look after yourself, if you need to talk or let of steam you know we are all here for you.

icihun, I am so sorry for your loss. Whilst I cannot presume to understand what you and your mum must be feeling right now, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
