I'm still eating too much protein.
I love it! Never mind being addicted to carbs. I'm addicted to protein now! What a life.......

How is that knee @liam1955 ?

Had a FULL pack of bacon to myself tonight with some cauliflower smothered in grated cheese. It was past its use by but still vacuum sealed. Had to use it all once it was open and Rocks doesn't like salty bacon

Hi all hope you've had a fab weekend . We've been to see Rons mum today. Don't think she was prepared for seeing Ron how he was.

My friends just text to says he's to have an x-ray on his tomo. He's going to need an op. Kept putting it off with the trials he had when the first one done put pain has won out.
Hope yours is nothing more than badly bruised. Must've missed your post saying you'd hurt it....

@Sable_Jan - Hi.:) I know your Avatar says you are a Prediabetes Expert, do you still test your blood sugars?
I hit my knee on the side /edge of the front door on Friday. Within 30? Minutes it began to swell, and got very painful. I refused to go to A & E - have used bags of frozen peas and sweet corn it, got a stockinette on and taking pain killers - it's now Monday, and it's still swollen but no bruising. Cannot bend my leg nor put weight on that leg. Rang GP Surgery this morning and got: a mild telling off - should have gone to A & E. Anyway, got appt to see GP this afternoon. :)

Good you're seeing him today. Tags with Avatar are misleading. Prediabetes; yes: expert; no! That part just pops up and changes entirely on number of posts (and possibly likes) yes, I do still test, just done my post brekky now. 5.4 to 6.2 one and half slices sunflower ryebread well butter and with lemon curd. Strayed rather whilst it's been hot but back on track today ... Hopefully I won't stray today anyhow

Do you ever get those days when you feel like banging your head against a brick wall.

Seeing gp wednesday with full bloods and dietician on friday.
Partners birthday wednesday too. Poor man is spending his birthday morning with me and his son at doctors. I take him to all the great places! !!!! lol
Father's day this weekend too. I've got some serious running around this week. Meal on wednesday and meal on Sunday. My bgs will take a hammering!
Oh. I'll have to pick up more ice cream and dark chocolate for shavings and chips. Mint for flavouring is the next purchase.
Looking forward to making pizza base and cakes with almond flour. A small pizza thou. Stevia getting more expensive, everywhere.

I'm fine just another appointment for Ron I've had to chase up . Getting fed up with kings mill hospital.
Good job you're available at mo. How is sciatica?
Have you been able to renew his painkillers without a fuss?

Did you take the new car for a decent run yet? Too soon?
Is Ron at work today?

My doctor is very helpful. Finally threw a complete wobbly this morning because of more metformin misery. Rang his surgery - straight through, now off metformin and dose of Canagliflozin doubled after my HB1ac later in the week - bye bye Metformin, I can't say it's been fun, but at least you tried.

Is canagliflozin working without side effects for you?
