Type 2 Life

I met my babies daddy at Victoria (my name) train station when he had returned from Sunderland (my origin) v chelsea football match. it seemed fate.
His illness is getting on top of me lately. I need to meet 'the girls' more often.
Tuesday morning coffee has been working a treat but son's illness suspended it. Went yesterday and we had a few laughs.
Hope your son is better now?
I didn't know your other half was ill. You've really got work cut out with 9 year old, toddler, sick husband and coping with your own diabetes too. Glad you managed your coffee morning yesterday

I've had my work out this morning. I have just spent 30 minutes hand washing a wool and angora jacket. It weighs a ton in water. I haven't got much energy left after trying to squeeze the water out of it before hanging it out to dry. I'm exhausted :D. Squash this afternoon. Just going out to get a few more plants and compost for my tubs. Have a good day all ;)
Fortunately I can't wear wool
Sounds like a mammoth task..

Good Afternoon, my friends,

My fbg this morning was 6.3. ive eaten some pork chops before going out 2 my care coordinator before and when I got home. lee cooked them 4 me.

He went back to school yesterday.
He had a scan monday and seeing pediatrician on the 15th for results and blood tests. Sonographer seems to think small appendage due to hormone imbalance.
Blood test will reveal more.

Glad he's being thoroughly tested. Fingers crossed easily sorted...

Hello Johnny, that's a good blood glucose reading for you and pork chops are a really good food for your diabetes-friendly diet, well done!

hi all we have just got back from the hospital for my lipid clinic appointment and what can I say but they didn't have a leg to stand on by time me and Tina had finished with them .
from the off set the doctor we saw didn't seem to have a clue with what she was doing and didn't really have any answers to my questions just wanted to push the statins on to me even though I had managed to reduce my levels from dangerous to border line and wasn't to happy that I refused the statins because of this plus the fact that the urine sample I took with me came back negative across the board .
they are requesting a second test with my gp for later in the month to double check the results.
The appointment with my dietician after went very well she was really inpressed with my results and urged me to continue with my LCHF diet but to keep a watch on my weight now that I don't loose much.more weight .
thankyou all for your continued support and advice without which I am sure this would not be possible
fingers crossed for this Friday and praying for more good results for my eyes although have been having more discomfort lately with my eyes .

Amazing what P.M.T. Does , especially when dealing with doctors .

Anyone else think they spend the whole time counting carbs? When I'm tired and low it gets to me. Heading to a big family weekend in Dorset on Saturday for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and determined not to be a carb bore ;)

It's not easy when they leave/go away I'm still lost now my daughters gone, & she's only 30mins drive away, they have their life & they don't always think about how we worry, when I think back I up & left in less than a week!! Didn't know exactly where I was going or walking into when I went to Iran, when I think of my parents now, given the time agsin I wouldn't have left my parents, but they need to spread their wings. & exsperience new things, not easy for us parents but I bet he's got a good head on his shoulders, he'll appreciate you more when he returns, children are only loaned to us, don't stress he'll be ok.

Thank you for your post @maureen5752
